That was Darkseed 2

Darkseed 1 the protagonist seemed more ...competent. Partially because he had no emotion throughout the entire adventure, whereas in Darkseed 2 he has a mental breakdown throughout the entire game.

Well if nothing else I think that wins an award for the song I've most seen take advantage of surround sound for that beginning part.

. . .Oh, it has a bit of a "Wait until it kicks in" phase the same as the song as I posted. Neat! It started out a bit quiet and now it just keeps escalating more and more to new heights. I love when a song has a certain kind of sound to it as well that it hits at one point. It always feels a bit refreshing.

I can definitely say I enjoyed that one.


On a Final Fantasy related note, I was actually a bit underwhelmed by Final Fantasy VII's One Winged Angel initially due to how it was hyped up as the "greatest song ever," but after the initial impression I find myself enjoying it quite a bit upon repeat sittings. It's a great song, there's just no conceivable way for it to live up to the reputation it's collected.

It would be interesting to see that kind of Ominous Latin Chanting applied to a song with more the kind of tempo, quirks, and instruments I'm more typically a sucker for, though. Very, very interesting. . .

I don't suppose I can argue with that. The Sinnoh games DID give us some nice music. My favorite out of the Sinnoh games is undoubtedly Route 209.

It's quite interesting.
The only Pokemon here that I've used are Dartrix, Toucannon, Charjabug, Salandit, and Golisopod.
Golisopod is a fun one. With Leech Life, it's pretty great.
Is this your final team, or do you think there might be more additions later?
Also, what gender is your Salandit?

I'd like for them to be placeholders, but speaking as an Australian who buys from EB Games Australia, games that go for $100+ (especially pre-release when they're up for pre-order) over here isn't as rare as you'd think it'd be.

Off topic, but lets hope Sakurai shows of whatever he is working on @ the Switch event...
