It sort of takes after ALBW to an extent, while at the same time would still provide a unique spin, however if there were two Zeldas, I find it somewhat hard to believe that she'd have evil intentions since she'd still be an incarnation of Hylia, assuming of course she'd still be part of the same royal lineage...

Looking back at Zero's day in the current edition of Rate Their Chances, there were a few people who believed that Smash would get X before Zero, even though Classic Mega Man is already on the roster with X as part of his Final Smash, and crossovers featuring Mega Man characters at most only have one playable incarnation of Mega Man even if multiple Mega Man series are represented (MvC2 had Classic Mega Man and Roll alongside Tron and Servbot from Legends but no MegaMan Volnutt, TvC had MegaMan Volnutt representing Legends while Roll and Zero were the sole representatives of the classic and X series, respectively, etc.).

Which had me wondering, how does anyone feel about more than one Mega Man being playable in a crossover like MvCI or Smash 5/Smash 4 Switch? Do you think it might happen one day? Would you want it to happen?

I might answer my own questions later.

I don't think it'll happen, in that one main Mega Man is enough for most. But, I also think no one would outright be against it either. Most people would want a supporting character or two in after that. So it's usually any combination, 1 Mega Man, Roll, Zero and Tron. Who knows, maybe one day Bass or Protoman can also be in a fighting game.

Personally, I'd REALLY like to see it happen in some game one of these days. Each of the Mega Men could have vastly different fighting styles based on their weaponry. Volnutt's Stance switching, Mega Man's Keep-Away, MMX mixing in some Shoto stuff with his unique weapons as well. EXE could be based around his sword, though that's just scratching the surface of his tech. And the only two that have some semblance of being too samey is EXE and Starforce. Though even those two could end up being vastly different fighters with the right choice of weapons.

I mean, most fighting games have a character or two who has a "variant" of them anyway. Ryu/Ken, Nina/Anna, King/Armor King, Siegfried/Nightmare, Link/Toon Link ect ect.

That said, if ANY Mega Men were added in on top of Mega Man himself, I'd really want it to be either Mega Man X, or EXE.

Oddly, for once the majority of the responses were actually jumping to Toon Link's defense, which was kind of refreshing since hardly anything gets positive reception from more than a minority of people anymore to the point where I start to question if anyone actually likes anything.

Even though i'd rather not have multiple characters in a third party franchise in Smash Bros, I would be super hyped if Megaman Volnutt got in Smash Bros.

You do make some good points. While I'm not against multiple Mega Men on being playable on any crossover's roster (Smash, MvC, or otherwise), if I were directing a crossover featuring Mega Man characters, I'd prioritize the supporting characters over an additional Mega Man for the sake of variety.

This is true, although most of the friendship berries also nix some stats with use (EVs I believe, but I've never bothered with them to verify).

My first experience with the online mode of a Street Fighter game was Super SFIV on PS3. (Never touched Vanilla SFIV.) I don't remember being very good at first, but I improved as I kept playing. If I remember correctly, my main Guy got buffed in later versions, so that probably helped, too. I'm no Street Fighter expert by any means, though.
