Depends if you need to bring your computer anywhere or not. I had a desktop computer before I got my laptop, and I bring my laptop to school since I need it there. (That, and my desktop computer doesn't reach the wifi in my room at my Grandparents house)

Based on my experience, yes it is. I actually ended up using my laptops more than my desktop computer. The fact you can place it in and use it anywhere helps a lot.

Poke Pelago is a great addition, not only does it give something for the boxed Pokemon to do but since it runs on real time, I can just go fo sleep and wake up in the next day with 100 Pomeg Berries, a fully EV trained Mon, an egg almost hatched and a bunch evolutionary stones

I couldn't give two ****s about Superman and am a DBZ fan, but no. Goku would not beat Superman in a fight to the death.
Ironically, Vegeta could. If only for the fact that unlike Goku, Vegeta would take full advantage of Kryptonite if he found out about it. Without the Kryptonite, though....Vegeta wouldn't have any more shot at winning a fight to the death than Goku.
