You guys are so good at picking 6-12 favorites. I have enough Pokemon I want without any real priority that I've decided to wing it for the most part and see what I end up with. . . .probably mostly, anyway. The good news is with the need for TM slaves removed I don't have to lower my team size even further.
How about helping the community grow, being a spokesperson for the smash scene and archiving tournament footage for years? That's all pretty good in my eyes.
Besides, even if you don't "respect" him, at least avoid from being sarcastic about him.

By giving him what he wants. This is what praline does all the time. Is it disrespectful? Yes. Is it rude? Yes. But praline says the same thing every time: "I don't care".
Just ignore him when he starts up and he won't go any further. And if he does, report him.
I think he's challenging AJ for the title at the Rumble (which he then wins and then Cena challenges him for it at Mania in a career vs title match because hell yeah fantasy booking).

Pffft, yeah, I tend to leave all my tabs and such out. Usually fighter factory and my recorder too, however, they were shut down yesterday on accident and I had no use for them today.(Especially the recorder, I have to reinstall it every time because reasons. I miss fraps.)
I'm making another roster, yet again(my first I filled was a KOFM(WoJ) one filled with characters of that style.) this one being Legacy for 1.1 since I've never had one for 1.1 before, along with a custom portrait roster.
Love filling it out with overpowered characters, or at least overpowered AI, makes fun dream matches.(Except for characters I can't find great AI for.) No Rare Akuma leveled characters though, they are all beatable if you can outperform them.(And they do really well against eachother, though it looks like Igniz destroyed Saiki in this video, it really could've gone either way, Igniz just striked first and had an over 100% combo.)
Seriously though, yeah, I don't see any problem with competetors being popular, I don't think there's anything wrong with people admiring them when they entertained by what they do and/or impressed by their skill. No problem with that in my book.
And by doing so you will cause a massive increase of Rattata population across Alola. So congrats, you will put an entire region into the hands of the rats, you maniac.

You know that infamous "Ash in a coma" thoery? Well, the Pokémon anime team actually planned a series finale for Ash's adventure that never came to be:
You mean you can still not have respect for someone and have no grudges against them. I misread that as you meaning that you are uncapable of respecting someone without hating them.

Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. To most of the Smash community, yes, GimR has earned that respect, and if you don't respect him- well that's your choice. Nobody can hold it against you because what praline said is true; the reasons for him being respected aren't the same for everyone. I respect what he's done for the community despite the fact I'm not really a part of the community anymore.
BUT not having respect doesn't mean you can be rude about them.
