Those of me that know me well, or at least well-ish, know that I have often turned to cooking to raise my spirits in trying times, sharing my thoughts on the results.

I'd like to offer my food adventure with you tonight. If you've no desire to hear it, have no fear, it's all spoiler'd for your scrolling-past convenience. But to the hungry, welcome.

Tonight, my recipe is simple. It may not be the hero I deserve, but it's the hero I need right now.

I present to you, the Angry Double.

It is so named for the same reason my Angry Triple was last year - spicy flavors, delicious though their danger is ultimately sound and fury.

Two bacon-and-cheddar Angus patties seasoned generously with a mix of pepper and a prepared garlic and herb seasoning, grilled to perfection on my George Foreman. Between the patties lies a thick slice of chipotle jack cheese, and each patty is itself flanked by a slice of American. All topped with Taco Bell's chipotle sauce and contained within a toasted onion bun, without a single vegetable in sight.

Though not my original intent, clearly this meal is how I have chosen to speak to the world tonight.

A familiar but uncommon exterior, slightly sauced or plain enough depending on your approach. Potentially interesting bits of substance suspended in an overhyped medium one can gather from most any corner if desired. All guarding an interior, with undeniable bits of fire mixed into a thing that forces me to reconcile something so fundamentally, undeniably delicious, and yet thoroughly unhealthy at its core. A delight with minimal redeeming value.

A metaphor - a snapshot of myself, in a burger. Although I think I'm a great deal prettier, thank you kindly.

Surrounding it is a sea of potato chips - Lay's Southern Biscuits and Gravy, a startlingly accurate flavor, an excellent comfort food. I have paired the meal with Cheerwine - perhaps a poor substitute for two things I desperately need right now, but then neither was available. Served on a paper plate because I desire to do things besides dishes right now.

At any rate, I think that's been enough poetic nonsense to last me a month, so I'll keep my closing comments simple.

So the bottle caps in Pokemon Sun and Moon don't work as how we originally thought. Instead of raising the IVs themselves, they I guess... Simulate the raised stats as if it was 31, and this is so your Pokémon's Hidden Power is unaffected.

"Virus" seems to be Sun exclusive and "Pillars" seems to be Moon exclusive(I'm calling them that because I don't know their real names). Likely that both are UB-04

Also confirms the starters' Z-Moves

Oh man I've been waiting for the "Origami" Ultra Beast's artwork to get revealed. The sprite was kind of hard for me to really get what it actually looked like. I'm not disappointed. It looks really bad***. The clean render isn't out yet but I assume it'll come around soon.

Yes, you can encounter HA's on pokemon with the DexNav....it's how I got my Drought Ninetales in my last playthrough...
You can also get egg moves without breeding, such as my Dragon Pulse Milotic...

To be fair, at least you can make the case that Giovanni attempted suicide. Whether or not he succeeded is more vague, especially since PWT is kind of non-canon by default (some folks who should have visibly aged didn't, Sabrina has ****ing Mewtwo, etc).

Yeah out of all the Ultra Beasts, this one is my favorite design-wise. Its got a cool name too- Kartana. Its really too bad they went nuts on its base stats though (181 base Attack that gets immediately buffed by Beast Boost? Jesus Christ, GameFreak), because I would of built around it for multiplayer (I don't like using broken Pokémon unless its specifically in Ubers). Two things that really are going to be problematic is its **** base HP and Sp.Defense. It also ironically doesn't learn a single Steel STAB, so you'll need to teach it Smart Strike which, for its Attack, doesn't mean much anyways. Its got good coverage, but if it doesn't take out its target, one flamethrower is all it'll take to erase Kartana into nothingness.

I seriously doubt it'll run anything else outside of Life Orb, because why bother? Even if the enemy resists the attack, its still going to hurt. Overall, very broken obviously, but nonetheless, a very cool-looking Pokémon. Kind of wish it got Iron Head though. But a non-miss attack is good too.
