I voted Mario Kart 8.

From my experience, I feel like it's one of the few MK titles where there's more focus on skill, even if luck still plays a large part in it. The cast of items is really good, and the game even does some fixes relating to item balance (other than getting the Coins constantly in first place). Racing online is definitely a blast (it even fixes the previous issue of racers who like to spam picks over and over again thanks to the new three-track set before races), Mario Kart TV is a fun feature that I can see coming back, leaderboards return and are expanded on, and all the tracks are fantastic. The game makes excellent use of the HD graphics, not to mention they do an excellent job at updating retro tracks to a much more modern take on it rather than just make very small changes like what MKDS, MKWii, and MK7 did.

I'd put Mario Kart Wii as my second favorite title, followed by Mario Kart Double Dash.

On a different note, there's a new trailer for the Sun and Moon anime, and it looks like it will be the final one before the series begins next week.

The XY&Z special featuring Clemont and Cilan also aired today, but I'm yet to watch it.

Mario Kart 8.

I hadn't owned a Mario Kart since Double Dash. I've played Mario Kart Wii at a friends house, but that was about it. Mario Kart 8 was sort of a reintroduction to the series for me and made me love it again.

The meaner you are about a topic, the meaner the opposite side will be in retaliation.

I've seen pictures of monuments vandalized with threats to kill white people and calling people Nazis.

If a person who didn't agree saw that, they'd get understandably and completely justifiably angry and only give them more reason to hold certain beliefs.

But honestly, thinking about it more, even if Hilary won, I feel like all this would've have still happened. Trump's campaign in general validated way too much wrong to just immediately die down like that.

With that sound, I wouldn't necessarily call both sides dangerous. They're both doing dangerous things, but in the long run, one side has a lot more power than the other and has a lot more freedom to exert it. Even if Trump supporters weren't being violent, the damage they can cause will last a longer and have a greater affect than vandalized property.

I voted for Mario Kart 8 as my favorite Mario Kart game mainly due to how fantastic the controls are, how stunning the visuals look, and the extra content that it has to offer.

While I do have a lot of nostalgia for Mario Kart 64, it's been quite some time since I last played it because I don't own a copy of it so it's hard to say how well it holds up today at least game play wise.

Speaking of Mario Kart 64, the soundtrack from that game truly felt like it was filled with magic with Rainbow Road and the Credits theme being the epitome of that. Kind of makes you feel like you're in a dream.

I miss that game.
