There's a neat little secret for those playing the NES Classic Edition with a Classic Controller or a Classic Controller Pro.
I had a feeling that was the function of the Home button.

Looks like Andre needs to invest in a Wii Remote extension cord like I did.

As long as we get Sinnoh forms in the hypothetical Gen IV remakes....

Would be a prime time to focus on other gens as well!
Yes indeed! I've said this multiple times- the building success of Alola forms shows that these are acceptable variations that can be added to a game.

And we got some good contenders here. Alakazam, Crobat, Rapidash, Noctowl, Octillery... I know I listed two first gen Pokémon but really- I wanna see Kung-Fu Alakazam and Fairy/Fire Rapidash.

Anthony Scaramucci, a hedge-fund manager who has somehow secured a position as a key Trump economic adviser despite being a member of the global financial elite Trump has vowed to crush, tells the Financial Times that Trump will eliminate a rule requiring financial advisers to follow their clients’ best interests.
Why

In what world would it be better for an ADVISER not to ADVISE in the best interests of their clients.

Why

I was hoping Square Enix would officially unveil Dissidia PS4 at PlayStation Experience. Guess they won't be though.

Also, more LEGO shenanigans.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Capcom have Akuma for SFV... Not sure what else.

Namco is the interesting one.
There's also Resident Evil 7 with VR and a possible Monster Hunter/Secret Game

Bamco has Tekken 7, Ace Combat 7 in VR and maybe something different

I could see Noctowl being either part Ghost or Psychic. Octillery would work as either Water/Steel, or Water/Fire. Heck, Water/Poison wouldn't be too bad either.

I don't know how people feel about older Pokemon getting completely new evos, since that stopped being a thing in Gen 5, but a Fire/Fairy evo for the Ponyta line would be ideal to me, as opposed to a regional variant. Give it wings and make it a Pegasus. Maybe have Levitate as an ability.

I wonder. . .does the fact that regional variants are Pokemon adapted to an area mean it will always be either one or the other, or is it possible that (older, not newly introduced) regional variants could end up as version exclusives somehow? Like. . .let's say one version of the Diamond/Pearl remakes has Vulpix and the other has Ice Vulpix. Is there any way that would be possible?

Or what if the normal version or regional variant was naturally in the wild in a region, but then the counterpart was in a Safari Zone type area where imported Pokemon were kept?

I'm wondering how they'll handle these in the future. I hope normal forms aren't restricted to Pokemon Go or anything like that. . . :/

I actually hope none of the Alola forms make an appearance as wild Pokémon in Sinnoh because it wouldn't make much sense canonically. These are Forms from Alola, not from Sinnoh.

I hold the exception with The Safari Zone however. The DP Safari Zone was trash and should be overhauled like it was in HGSS (okay fine that was actually an addition but you get what I mean). Allowing other region Pokémon to be caught there does make sense because its a handled habitat rather then the Pokémon on their own. So they don't need to change.

I doubt the normal forms will be restricted completely. They still exist in game. The back-lash of removing them would be pretty big. Vulpix/Ninetails and Meowth in particular are pretty popular. And a lot of people don't like Alolan Persian. I guess Raichu as well.

I think you mentioning the Safari Zone importing the original version, or have them restricted to post-game areas are the most likely of options. Y'know, aside from some versions just not being available for certain games and needing to be traded over.

Exactly, Alolan forms can comeback by being in man-made areas like the Safari. And the opposite for the original versions, for this particular game.

Monster Hunter is probably never leaving Nintendo again.

That's where all the money is now.

They have said they want to do MH on consoles and they'll say that they will have some plans with Sony on the PS4

Then turns around and puts the same game on Switch

I respectfully disagree bud.

But that is an awesome typing though.
But an undead water horse that gallops on the ocean's waves sounds just too damn awesome of a concept...

I guess a fiery Pegasus Unicorn is cool too I guess...

There's a pretty decent Black Friday deal for LEGO Dimensions at Wal-Mart.

$39 for the game and $14 for level packs

If I'm able to order it online I may just get it. The game and figures aren't going to get cheaper anytime soon.

:006::146::250: and Talonflame beg to differ.
Charizard is trash without its Megas.

Moltres... Lol

Ho-Oh is a box legendary- no dip.

Talonflame was the Scrub lord of Gen 6 who's only trick was Gale Wings, but not anymore... :4villager:

They all possess a 4x weakness to SR and rocks which makes them incredibly easy to beat. Especially now that Lycanroc exists. Fire/Fairy hasn't been used yet as a typing and makes more sense as a Unicorn Pokémon.

There's Zebstrika. It could be your Water/Ghost creep horse.
Mmmmm...no

Seeing a dark purplish-blue Rapidash with a watery mane instead of fire sounds a whole lot more appealing to me...

Talonflame was incredibly manageable. Popular and good, but manageable. You just sound salty. :p

Salt should be reserved solely for Mega Kangaskhan. That thing made Talonflame look like Unown.

Welp, just found out something about what I saw earlier.

Apparently the whole traveling between the worlds of Sun and Moon thing doesn't allow for any otherwise version exclusive Pokemon to be caught at all, it just changes the time of day you're playing in.

Salty? No. Talonflame was an easy counter if you know how to fight it.

My gripe with GW-T was that it was a powerful ability that only Talonflame got. People don't really get that Talonflame was only popular because of Gale Wings. Pre Gale Wings- nobody gave a **** about it much like Pidgeot and Noctowl. Gale Wings was an overpowered ability in which took birdspam to a whole new level of annoyance. It was EVERYWHERE.

As for Mega Kang, well no ****. Lol Parental Bond procs PupP twice and it's second hit was too powerful.

It's funny too, since Talonflame was a favorite of mine even before I knew its potential. Same with Greninja and Klefki. All three were on my Y in-game team. :p

Then again the only regional bird I didn't like at least somewhat was Staraptor, funnily enough.

*sigh* I'm sorry. I know a lot of people dont care about weaknesses and ****. I'm all for cool looking Pokémon but I just feel that if they're as cool as a flaming unicorn, I'd like to use them in multiplayer matches without too much problem.

That's why this generation quietly pissed me off. :x

DUDE STARAPTOR-- *deep breath*

Boi. :4mario:

I for one love Staraptor. He is just the most ass kicking machine in the sky- throwing down BBs and CCs without a care.

It's fine, I do care for weaknesses, but I'm also a very casual player. A flaming unicorn would be nice, no matter what the typing though.

*thinks back to Staraptor*

I find Talonflame so overrated when it comes to competitive play. People really overestimate how big of a deal Gale Wings is, especially since its going to outspeed most Pokémon anyways, thanks to its speed being its only high stat. Every other stat is just average.

Which is why, if it existed, it should be Fire/Fairy.

Also, Staraptor is the best bird. Well, that and Freedom Bird. Fight me on it.

Everyone knows Baile Oricorio is best Fire/Flying. Period.
Knows how to dance? Check.
Cool signature ability? Check.
GUREATO design? Check.
Has THE best shiny design of all Pokemon? Check.
Is spanish? Check.
Has other cool family members from the US, Hawaii and Japan? Check.
Probably the Team Mom? Check.

Also, as for regional birds, I like all of them, though Staraptor and Pikipek's final evo are my favorites

Alright, decided to do a little thing. Click on the image to make it full size if your computer can handle it and tell me if you think the Smash Wii U CSS would work in 720p if it didn't have the "resized image goes foggy" thing going on or if Nintendo would need to rework the CSS a little bit. Because the character portraits on the Switch with the Wii U CSS would be a little smaller than the already textless-to-work 3DS CSS squares, but they would also be three times the definition. I tried to get the mockup pretty close to the actual size if I. . .actually looked up the right proportions and did everything right throughout the process.

*EDIT* I feel dumb. I just realized the Wii U screen is the same size and lower definition and it handles it fine. Oh well, consider it mocked up.

Freedom Bird.
Ah that reminds me.

Remember Braviary? "The American Eagle of Pokémon"? Well it turns out we associated it with the wrong side of American history.
It’s thought that people disturbed their habitats in the past, so Braviary banded together to fight back.
