I'm trying to remember whether or not the Chozo thing made Samus sterile but this is honestly only happening in a lab either way.

I know people are trying to say this is their willing spawn by natural causes but in a realistic world this thing would be something the Galactic Federation cooked up out of a mix of Samus and Ridley's cells in yet another stupid attempt at science.

At that age it should still be in it's feather stage, though. Unless it progresses through Ridley stages at Ridley speed but the human stages at human speed? It would explain the deep questions.

I imagine Samus adopting it but being incredibly conflicted the whole time.

Yes.
It's... it's a thing that Samus is sterile. That was kinda the biggest thing behind the baby metroid imprinting on her meaning just that much. "The Baby" was the closest thing she'd have TO a child (or at least that's how the writing tried to handle it; ignoring how far adoption or surrogate work would be possible in the age with intergalactic space travel).

The real neat thing about this angle is that it gives a second meaning to a famous line in the series. "The last Metroid is in captivity. The Galaxy is at peace." Samus giving up that child for that peace.... which makes what came of that all the more cruel.

While worried and all, I'm not going to go nuts anymore about the election stuff. There's no point in worrying myself sick. I'm on my vacation from work and I intend to enjoy it(and help my mom out). Mind you, it affects me far less than some others, and of course I am worried for those others. But panicking won't help either. Trump will learn fast that he doesn't have extreme power at all, and that what he wants to do is not going to be easy at all. Although most of Congress being Republican isn't exactly helping either...

Anyway, I must be the only one who didn't find that Ridley Jr. picture terrifying/etc. Albeit, the implications behind it is. I thought it was kind of cute. But hey, when you find Final Fantasy VIII's Diablos cute, well...

People say that my baby Araquanid is bad competitively and that it has a bad movepool.

Which is true: It's type coverage is pretty limited.

Although there's one thing that gives it a niche compared to other Pokémon:
It gets Soak.

Which means you can Soak and Switch to a grass poké.

It also heals from Water-type moves, is strong against Fire-type moves and cannot be burned.

Oh and it can get Scald

I think its a glitch that it lists the extra ground immunity because it lists my team as having a ground immunity even though I have no flying types or levitaters on my team...and my second team with 2 when it should only have one...

Nintendo do this quite often. They have a rumour that might upset some people, deny it has any legitimacy, and then flat out confirm it a week later or something.

Also I'm watching Day 2 of SomecallmeJohnny's Sonic Hacking Contest streams (during class, hehe), and ridiculous stuff happens sometimes.

And you might be thinking "Oh but you can catch them in normal pokeballs" a common misconeption is that you cant catch ultra beasts in pokeballs see you can they just have the worst catch rate imagineable because ultra beasts are infact pokemon from ultra space its just a name nothing more so given that knowledge theres 12 ultra beasts 11 if you really dont want to count necrozma but seeing as its pokede points to it comming from ultra space and the fact that the only reason its harder to catch the ultra beasts is because they still have residual energy from ultra space on them said energy was also absorbed by the totem pokemon

I removed Kommo-O for Mudsdale since Lycanroc can't learn Earthquake for whatever reason... But it can learn Brick Break so I don't actually need a Fighting type (Sure, it's not stab but I don't want Lycanroc to have useless coverage, plus you get Kommo-O pretty damn late in the game). I haven't looked at Mudsdale's entire moveset but I'm assuming it can learn Earthquake.

So trying to catch Ultra Beasts in regular Pokeballs is basically Pokemon catching hard mode?

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

. . .Maybe. It depends on just how horrible that catch rate is and how insane I'm feeling at the time. Not entirely sure if I want to top Heatran for my most annoying catch experience.

. . .Heatran has resisted to the point of self destructing several times over multiple games. Bit of a troublemaker.

I'm the type of person who's happy to reset over and over if it means catching a legendary in a Luxury Ball so a challenge like this might be hypothetically interesting.

Dhelmise then has access to Mega Drain, which not only deals more damage because of [Sp Attack Buff Move Ori Baton Passes] , but also because of the soaked opponent. This means that Mega Drains gives even more HP to Dhelmise.

5. Toucannon
Skill Link Bullet Seed can wreck the (soaked!) opponent.
Then he U-Turns in order not to die.

Merciless + Poison everything.
