I feel like red almost has to be Sagat and Balrog. I don't see a reason for them to bring back only Vega.

That's what I think as well excluding Sagat, but anything could happen with post-release DLC and what not.
I remember in one of his arcade endings in SF4, Sagat returned to his village and started to work in the village.
Might not mean he is retired, but who knows.

I'm not really expecting Alex or Urien for the initial 16 but if I had to choose one I'd go with Alex.

Some people are blind to jokes and/or sarcasm for whatever reason. I miss a lot of jokes myself because I'm very literal and can often miss the meaning of something because I have a lack of distinction for those things. But that doesn't warrant a response like yours. Someone has a different way of humor, is it really something to be faulted over?

I still have a lot of catch up to do on my Infinity character backlog.
Amiibo collecting kinda took time away from that due to stock. Disney can stock their figures much better than Nintendo can, so while I know I can always pick up Elsa, Donald Duck, or Falcon, that's not the case with someone like Marth. :/
Luckily my amiibo collection's winding down somewhat. I plan on getting Infinity 3.0 sometime soon.
Also I REALLY want one of the red spots to be Dhalsim but sadly I don't think he's making the cut.

He could still be in as DLC. Dhalsim, along with Zangief, are SF2 characters that are frequently used in several games, including multiple crossovers and they both also have the advantage of representing fundamental gameplay archetypes. So I'm not worried about either characters. Honda, T. Hawk, DeeJay and Fei Long are definetly not part of the original 16, though Honda at least has a very good chance of making it in as DLC due to how iconic he is.

I still want Balrog and Sakura. But I can see Karin making a return but I'm kinda low on her chances. I can see Alex being part of the base game.
I just want more new characters. Returning fighting is nice and all but newcomers matter more in fighters

It didn't sell poorly, but it had a kind of slow debut week compared to other Starfy games. It was a decent seller. Definitely better than something like Star Successor or even Dark Dawn, IIRC.
