And Wario/Bowser/Ganon cannot just make a gunship of that size.
While I don't think I can salvage the rest of subspace, I'd like to point out that they probably had help from all those enemies in the game, the bosses and stuff would've been great construction workers.

He never said they had cutscenes. Therefore they couldn't "put back" what didn't exist. He said he didn't do them, not that they were removed. So basically your petition is " waste 8 months using space that could be used on good new characters on a boring campaign"? I fail to see logic in that. Pass

It's seriously hard to believe the amount of assfaces who don't want a story mode...just let me tell you this people: If you didn't get goosebumps when...

- Link lifted the Master Sword
- Marth battled Meta Knight
- Samus rescued Pikachu
- Samus got her suit back
- Mario, Link, Kirby and Yoshi appeared
- Snake got out of the box
- Captain Falcon jumped and did a Falcon Punch to a ROB
- Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong stopped the Bullet Bill attack
- ALL OF NINTENDO'S ALL-STARS DID A FULL ASAULT ON THE SUBSPACE ARMY
- Sonic pulled an epic save

...you don't really like the concept of Smash Bros.
As I said, all of these things were cool... the first time. The cutscenes and SSE were nifty but they totally weren't worth the whopping 3/5ths of the development time it's estimated to have taken to put them in the game. Also, the "concept of Smash Bros" for me is the VS mode and will always be the VS mode. One player mode is a nice distraction for awhile but VS mode is what gives the Smash Bros games their years worth of replayability.

I don't know what's sadder: People thinking petitions that literally anyone can make actually work or that the topic creator posted this a month ago and has yet to make a second post on Smashboards (I know we were down for a good bit but still).

Either way, both of these facts actually DISCOURAGES me to support this.

But on topic: No story or cutscenes are not deal breakers for either Smash games.

Honestly, cutscenes were cool, but I really don't want SSE again. Cutscene endings for Classic Mode, however, would be awesome.
Dude....Yes! and Maybe Cutscenes after all star mode as well?!

Adventure Mode>Story Mode

The only things I can think of that were actually good about SSE were that it was 2-player, cutscenes and 1/2 the boss fights (Non-generic ones). The rest was sub par, repetitive, uninspired, bland, lacking in that Nintendo feel and a bad way of unlocking characters.

What a great way to end this thread.

Personally, the story mode and cut scenes are a waste of time. Just give me a more expanded multiplayer. That's the gamemode that lasts. Also, give me a real online mode, with leaderboards, stats, ranks, etc. Give me the ability to make my own rooms with adjusted item rulesets.

Cut scenes... meh. You watch them once and then never again. Story mode is something you play to unlock characters and that's pretty much it. I wish they'd spend 100% of their time on multiplayer mode, characters, and stages.
