NiGHTS: A JOURNEY TO BRAWL?

I wonder though... can NiGHTS make the cut? Sure he/she is popular and is making a return in an upcoming Wii game starring him/her, but he/she has never been on a Nintendo system before this. One of Sakurai's rules is that a character must have appeared on a Nintendo console. NiGHTS would be breaking that rule in a way.

NiGHTS is coming to the wii, that is not breaking the rules...

Besides, it's not set rules in stone...

I remember NiGHTS: Into Dreams. In fact I still have my old Sega Saturn and copy of Into Dreams, and I'll definitely play Journey of Dreams when it comes out.

If any Sega character gets in, other than Sonic, I hope its Nights.

Well, I only give NiGHTS the benefit of the doubt because one of the composers for brawl is the guy who did the NiGHTS soundtrack, and really thats the only thing he's done of note in game music.

Nights should be a girl, it just seems like a more suitable gender for it.

But whatever, it's still cool.

And even though Sonic took the SEGA spot in Brawl (which I have no complaints about ), I would still like to see NiGHTS. He/She/It would make a great and original fighter.

You know how poor the recent Sonic games have been right? What if Sonic Team screws up the NiGHTS sequel? What if it becomes, you know, a bad game? Just thinking about it is going to give me nightmares! (no vague puns intended )

Oh well, I'll still get it and hope Nights makes it to Brawl in some form

Well Sega SWORE they would never remake NiGHTS unless they knew it would succeed the original...

I know they have said that before...

But from a lot of the screen shots, it looks excellent...unfortunately, I have seen a few that have me worried...

In Journey of Dreams, apparently He/She/it talks with a female voice though...

But I have only heard he/she/it referred to as "he" when a term is applied...probably because "he" is used as a general referral though and "it" is an insult

actualy, everyone is refered to as "he" in some cultures (I think in japan too but I am unsure of this), so "he" might actualy be a she.
but this is all very confuseing...

NiGHTS has no Gender however, ( I don't know if this is canon or not becuase i remember reading it from the archie comics)

Whenever NiGHTS is given the red ideya of bravery from either Elliot the blue haired kid or Claris the girl NiGHTS sorta combines with them.
Depending on which one he does combine with depicts his gender.
If he combines with Elliot he is a boy, If he combines with Claris Its a girl.

Well NiGHTS is either a male jester or a female harlequin. But he/she/it definitely is not a cross dresser either way. It's a very transgender costume for a very transgender character.

I'm hoping NiGHTS ends up being a girl... it would just be easier.
Neither would be fine, too, I suppose.
But a boy would just be weird.

Big NiGHTS fan (though I've never played the original) been a fan Since Sonic's adventure

I haven't seen any good-quality vids of it, yet. I've only seen screenshots, and you know it doesn't really do games justice. Look at Brawl.

Well, in the least for all you NiGHTS fans, I heard the gameplay was REALLY good, and the music was really good. The graphics maybe aren't the best but do look relatively good...

I was impressed with some of the graphics I've seen, but other screenshots also made me worry...
