The NFL 2010 Draft is underway, discuss anything concerning the draft (and league if it relates) here.

It's just a few hours away before it begins. What do you think will happen, how will it affect the teams, so on.

Browns are going to fail at getting a good draft pick, obviously.
This should be interesting :'D

I understand why you'd want them to, they could possibly get some more picks or a decent player out of it, but I personally feel there's too much talent in this draft to let the pick go.
Really? Because I feel like this draft doesn't have as much talent as others. I'm iffy on Bradford, what with the injury and all. He's looked really good this offseason, but he hasn't been getting hit, and you never know with durability.

So we got Cook and Gerhart in the 2nd round
The Gerhart pick was good but I was kidna pissed that we traded away our first round pick. We coulda picked Patrick Robinson but he went to the Saints

You might want to specify 'we'

I'm glad the lines are shoring up the d-line with Suh, we gotta start somewhere with this defense.

Also, Boomer Sooner! 3 of the top 5 draft picks!

lol at whoever said jimmy clausens gonna be a top 5 pick.
Top pick means nothing honestly. Draft rounds are only good if you're before a team that wants the same player as you. Obviously. But really, it all depends on the teams needs. The Rams needed a QB, they got someone other than Jimmy Clausens. That being Sam Bradford. Afterwards, they didn't draft a QB. So...

Top pick means everything. The top pick gets more money then anyone else, and that sort of investment forces a team's hand. The Rams HAVE to start Bradford and pay him a ton of money. If they had traded the pick and picked up Clausen or McCoy in later rounds, they could develop the quarterback, lessen the pressure on both the player and the organization, and save some $$$. I'm not disagreeing with the pick, just merely pointing out that the top pick is a huge deal. Just ask the Raiders what Jamarcus Russell has done to them.

Btw, I'm a huge dolphins fan and I loved their draft. Getting Odrick was a smart pick. At this point it looks like they're just stockpiling young players and creating competition. In the coming years (and even this year) I expect the phins to be a serious threat in the AFC.

As much as I hate to say it, I personally think the Jets have the most stacked team in the AFC right now... They have Jason Taylor on their D now, too. Along with that great CB they drafted to play beside Revis. I personally blame Sanchez for their horrible season last season. It really wasn't horrible, obviously, for getting so deep into the playoffs, but as far as they went, I blame Sanchez for the team losing. They have many good receivers now, too. Miami is a thrreat, now. But that division will be insanely brutal.

jets wont win superbowl until they mature on offense. theyre relying too much on inexperienced qb and rb play. cant match up to manning.
also who thinks Tebow unseats kyle orton by sheer charm alone?

^^ yes. yes. yes. yes. and yes.

I think Orton will start for Denver anyway though. Tebow is still a rookie regardless of his work ethic so he needs work, and Brady Quinn is still not at his full potential.
