Hey everyone.

Yeah yeah yeah, we know we've been MIA for awhile. We've been VERY busy with work and other things lately. We haven't had time much for anything Nexus at all since SSR 3.

We've been wanting to upload videos for a long time to youtube, but we didn't have any hardware to transfer VHS tapes to the computer or any video capturing program to be able to edit them. We were waiting for the prices of VHS/DVD recorders to go down, but unfortunately they're still pretty expensive, so we just decided to get one anyways.

$300 later, we've finally got a recorder, DVDR's, and a program to transfer videos to computer. That means that now we're finally starting to get those matches you have all been waiting for online.

I've spent half of yesterday and all day today learning how to record and edit DVD's, it's a lot of work but I think it'll get easier over time. Anyways, we've got a little treat for you, the finals from SSR 2 from October of last year (Ken vs Hugs). They're uploaded onto youtube, and more matches will be coming.

On a side note, we have a LOT of footage and matches recorded, and not only that, but a LOT of them were friendlys or people who didn't put their gamertag up while playing. If you have a match that you think was recorded that you'd like to be uploaded, we can do that if you e-mail us with information from your match.

If you want me to look for your match, i'm going to need AT LEAST:

The matchup
The levels that you played on
Who won the matches
If you can, around what time during the tournament you played your friendly

If I don't have this, it's going to be near impossible to search through the 10+_tapes that we've got to find a match with two unnamed people, and we really don't wanna post a match online with the wrong people playing. If you give us the info, we'll try our best to find it in a decent amount of time.

Another reason why we dropped so much money to get this recorder is because later if hopefully we get bigger and have more tourneys, we wanna make a yearly Nexus DVD with highlights, music vids, and just footage from our tournaments. Hopefully, if we have a couple more tourneys before the end of the year we'll make one for last/this year.

So you're only going to upload vids that people request?

And what do you mean by time the set was played, like 2nd round WB ?

Yeah, we had to buy a DVD/VCR recorder which was about $200, then DVDr's, and then a DVD ripping program, all and all it was about $300.

Nonono, we're going to upload lots of videos, especially the final and semis from our old tourneys. We were just talking about if you want us to find YOUR match, then we can look for it and upload it. Becuase for most tourneys, you usually only find the matches between the best guys (ken, dsf, hugs, isai, zelgadis, mew2king, koreandj, etc.), but not for the average joe that went. We've got a lot more than just that, so we were talking about if you wanted your own matches to study and hopefully learn from.

And what we mean by the time the set was played is just around when at the tourney you played the match, like the beginning, during singles//whatever. That's just to help us find it because we have multiple tapes from each tourney and it's a lot to look through.

We'll be uploading other matches soon, probably this weekend. We're planning on getting the finals from SSR3 next.

Yeah, we know you're anxious to watch your matches. Like we said last post, your vids are first on our agenda to get put up. We'll probably have them up tonight or tomorrow night at the latest, so keep checking back.

Both Stop and I (Mr.X) manage the account at different times, at any time it can be either one of us. I know it can be a bit confusing, but we try to act like one "group" since we're both technically "Nexus", so we try to deal with the public on boards and such as a unit.

But when you get to know us better, it's easy to tell us apart =P.

Anyways, the videos from Bob$ vs Isai are up, go check the first post to see them. We stayed up till 3:30 A.M. to do it, so you'd better be happy Bob x_X.

We're moving out of our apt in September, and after that we've got other tournaments to do. So we don't know when SSRIV will happen. Hopefully between October and the end of the year, but no guarantees right now :(
