i have no clue how long these support threads can last or if they're even capable of lasting for a long time

They last as long as the section lasts. So it might last till Ultimate is done with or a new Smash game comes out. It'll be up for a long time. I'll tag Fox Is Openly Deceptive to help you out.

But I thought that thread was repurposed as a social, wouldn't that deconstruct the entire buildup of what that thread has become?

To be fair, that was the old thread owner's decision. However, I will talk to Fox about this first.

Otherwise, you could create your own entire thread instead? And you can rewrite the opening as you wish anyway.

I mean, did you want to make a new thread instead? That's not an issue at all. This is the non-social thread, so it might've been easier to use that over the previous one you talked about.

I was talking about the one I just linked. But yeah, let me talk to the Admin for a moment first. Since I was doing that with his help. Either way, the link'll be updated in the directory.

Update: Go ahead with the new thread. Thank you for your patience and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I, along with the moderation, was dealing with tons of other big stuff related to the site(some related to the previous drama), and I also had a very long set of work days, so I was exhausted. It legitimately slipped my mind. No excuses, of course.

For me to do that, you need to find a post older than the first post of each thread. Then I can move that post over to the thread.

Then you can update the post proper. All we ask is that it's an unimportant post(at best) and not a severely long time before the first post of the thread(in case we need to change thread owners again).

No. The thread alone doesn't have to be active. It's just that your post itself must be before the first post of the thread time-wise that you want to take over.

So if that post, that you linked, is made after the first post of the Chorus Kids thread(which seems to be the case by the wording you gave), I can't move it that way.
