Newcomer - Shadow Marth

After about 3 weeks I've finnally finished shadow marth.

Basically shadow marth is marth with darkness type attacks.
Almost all of his attacks have been changed.



B ATTACKS
Standard B - Dark Magic - Marth summon's a ball of darkness, this ball has mild knockback and attacks fast for 1 - 12 damage.

UP B - Hover - Marth dissapears and hovers upwards, like snakes UP B.

SIDE B - Duo Slash - Marth attacks twice, one attack stops the character for a bit and does 5 damage, the second attack has a huge knockback, moves vary in the air/on the ground.

DOWN B - Surprise Attack - Marth jumps into the shadows, for a bit he is invulerable, after a bit he lunges out of the darkness.

FINAL SMASH - Corruption - Shadow Marth calls forth the power of the shadows to corrupt the players on the field. The attack does mild damage but freezes characters for 10 seconds.

A ATTACKS
A - For this attack i've sped it up really fast, holding A goes to attack12, then to attack11. This attack is great for comboes.

Side A - This attack is slower, but attacks with 3 projectiles that do 3 each.

Up A - This attack has very minimal knockback, it has a bigger hitbox and afterwards, characters at the tip of Marth's sword will get extra damage.

Down A - This attack hasn't changed much, i've changed the animation and the knockback.

A DASH - This attack has a huge knockback and deals huge damage, the fallback is that it is really slow and leaves marth vunerable if you miss.

A Air and A Air up have been sped up 2x, but damaged lowered.

A Air Down is no longer a spike attack, i've sped it up though.

A Air Forward is now Marth's spike attack (seems more suitable).

A Air Backwards hasn't changed except for the flag. (couldn't think of anything).

All the S3 A attacks now can be interrupted faster for combos.


OTHER CHANGES
Marth now has a glowing purple sword.
Marth is a lot slower.
Marth jumps lower, but has better air movement.
Marth's entry has been changed.
Marth's A taunt is now his old taunt.



Basically that is it.
Anyone wanna give me ideas for a next project?

The range of the forward smash looks a bit too uber ;\

The video really only shows you spamming fsmash and the final smash...
Doesn't really showcase his moves other than that at all...

this doesn't seem balanced or meant for exact balance, but he is extremely smooth and slick, i like it a lot, but i wouldn't add characters outside the brawl+ package, thats just me. great job though!

Ganondorf Mod
1) Choke Hold Switched to a Projectile
-Similar to Din's Fire except 5% stronger, 1.5x larger, purple, darkness effect, harder to control, explodes earlier, and lag time afterwards

2) FSmash Elbow Bash Switched to a Sword Swing
-Sweetspot at end of blade, electric effect. Sourspot in middle of blade, dark effect

3) Dark Dive switched to 3 consecutive backflip kicks similar to Ganon's Uair
-Has wind hitboxes when rising from the ground, first kick causes a flower effect, second kick causes an electric effect, third kick causes darkness effect.

So. . . I wanted to see what the moves looked like, and I watched 2mins of the vid and only saw f-smash and Final smash. maybe you should. . . you know make a vid that just shows moves.

I really like what you did to marth. I especially like how the trails left by the sword look (time for an alucard mod!!). However, some of the new moves are a little ridiculous. Specifically the Forward smash. With just a few tweaks I would definitely use this guy instead of vanilla marth.

Did you, by any chances, extended his sword? Not only with the dark flame, but the actual sword? I could've seen wrong though.

So I tried out Shadow Marth.

Lol wtf. This character is mad out of wack.

Uair had a weird hitbox was was an excellent juggler, SH Double Uair lolwtf.
Dair was loltastic.
Fair was really good though its a move you can really use once or twice off the stage before having to recovery.
Bair was eh. DIdnt see much special about it.
Nair was dumb. The hitbox is way too short and the total move duration throws the risk/reward out of wack because the reward is no where near worth using compared to how punishable it is.

Utilt/Ftilt/Dtilt were all so so. Though utilt was strong.

Jab *****. Fsmash is oddly good for how laggy it is, probably because of the projectile. Dsmash isnt very good and Usmash is worse. Dash attack as his best killer is really hilarious, but the lag it has makes it so that you really dont want to use it until around 100%.

Neutral B is lol. I keep using it in the air and it sucks in air. It gets a smidge better when you be reversal. I love how it ***** shields.

Side B is a big no-no imo. The first hit does so little stun that the second it his constantly blocked/shield grabbed/spot dodged/etc.

Down B is okay. Its hard aiming it though and the rewards for successfully hitting arent that good.

Up B is awesome. Nuff said.

Throws and grabs are k.

All in all. I found myself abusing Jab, Fsmash, Fair, Ftilt, and Up B. I abused Uair on fatties and heavies. And abused Dair on stages like port town and halberd.

Up B can let Marth plank REALLY REALLY hard though. V:

Didn't try FS though. Looks MAD BROKEN though. 10 seconds of frozen characters? lolwut.

I played all this in Brawl+. Idk what S. Marth was made for but I dont think he's that good in B+
