I'm guessing Lucario will be a neat addition to Brawl (alongside Blaziken) because of these reasons:
1. He's a pretty agile character, suited for battle
2. A lot of people (namely Pokemon fans) are familiar with him.
3. He's a pretty fast Fighting-type Pokemon and a very anticipated member of the SSB array.

____________
LUCARIO

Strengh: B-
Defense: B
Speed: A
Recovery: B
Weight: C
Jumping Distance: A

BASIC MOVES:
A Button (Mach Punch)
-A surprisingly fast punch attack. Easy to make a Close Combat combo with it.
DAMAGE: 5%

A Button repeatedly (Close Combat)
-Lucario sends a fast barrage of punches at the foe. This can be annoying if you are against him as you can get trapped in the attack (akin to Kirby's Vulcan Jab)
DAMAGE: 6%

A Button while dashing (Extremespeed)
-Similar to Fox's Fox Illusion, Lucario strikes the foe with superspeed.
DAMAGE: 8%

SMASHES:
A Button + Left or Right (Jump Kick)
-Pretty self-explanatory. Lucario stikes the foe with his foot.
DAMAGE: 16%

A Button + Up (Knock Off)
-Lucario slaps the foe into the air with a paw.
DAMAGE: 9%

A Button + Down (Slam)
-Same as Knock Off, Lucario slams the foe with his paw

AIR MOVES:
A Button (Rapid Spin)
-Lucario spins briefly in midair trapping anyone that touches him.
DAMAGE: 5%-15%

A Button + Left (Drill Kick)
-Lucario hits the foe with a kick that drills into them.
DAMAGE: 4%-10%

A Button + Right (Smashing Kick)
-A powerful kick attack, Lucario smashes the enemy backward with a kick.
DAMAGE: 10%

A Button + Down (Aura Dive)
-Lucario fires down at the foe covered in a blue mist
DAMAGE: 10%-15%

SPECIAL ATTACKS:
B Button (Aura Sphere)
-Similar to Samus' Charge Shot and Mewtwo's Shadow Ball. Lucario charges a ball of aura. Once it fully charges, Lucario's fist will glow (like Mewtwo, but only blue instead of purple).
DAMAGE: -15%-20% depending on charge.

B Button + Left or Right (Metal Claw)
-Lucario slashes with a metallic claw.
DAMAGE: 10%

B Button + Up (Sky Uppercut)
-Strikes the foe into the sky. A pretty useful knock out move. Lucario also jumps into the sky for his move (similiar to Roy's Blazer and Marth's Dolphin Slash)
DAMAGE: 15%

OTHER:

Taunt
-Lucario raises his arm into the air with a loud "YAH!" or "AURA!"

Icon
-A POKéBall obviously.

Loss
-Lucario claps politely with a smile on his face.

Win
-Lucario simply conjures up an Aura Sphere.

Guard
-Lucario covers his face with his arms and a blue Aura Sheild surrounds him.

Grab
-Lucario catches the foe with one paw.

Throw
-After catching the opponent with one paw, Lucario then uses his other paw to punch them away.

GAME(S)
-Well, we all know Lucario is in POKéMON Diamond & Pearl. But with a new Mystery Dungeon Sequel coming out, he might just be in that game too!

CHARACTER INFO
-Lucario
Aura POKéMON
HT: 4'0"
WT: 119 lbs
It has the ability to sense the auras of all things. It understands human speech. By catching the aura emanating from others, it can read their thoughts and movements.
(POKéDex entry)

CRITIQUE
-Overall, Lucario's skill is like Mewtwo and Pikachu combined. He's a speedy character with average strength but good attacks that will serve him well in Brawl! Let's keep hoping that he makes it in!

Already a thread on this, and bloody 20% damage for one bloody uncharged move?! And I thought a fully charged shadowball was strong...

I'm guessing you missed the:

"DAMAGE: 10%-50% depending on charge." for the B charged storable projectile

and

"DAMAGE: 40%" for the instant ^B recovery move

Think im posting in a closed topic here :p

Your thread lacks any explanation as to why Lucario would be a good character.

Thankfully, the Lucario Shrine thread already in place has everything people need to know about Lucario.

Thanks for telling me something I already knew. The topic wasn't bumped before, so I didn't see it.

Visiting from above.
Out of all of the 4th gen Pokemon suggestions, I dislike Lucario the least. I somewhat enjoy his Anubis-like appearance, and an agile, Fighting-type Pokemon would be a welcome addition.

That said, I'd still rather a REAL Fighting-type like Hitmonlee, or... wait, all the other ones suck. And don't even get me STARTED on Blaziken.

Anyway, post in the Lucario Shrine.
