That's the trailer for the new True Grit movie. The original True Grit just so happens to be one of my favorites. I love John Wayne and I adore a good Western. This is probably why I love Red Dead Redemption so much, but I digress. I want to see this movie because IMO it looks like a movie modeled after a classic but good enough to stand on its own two feet.

Anyways, who all wants to see this movie besides me?

I am so looking forward to this. Bridges is a great actor, and pretty much every movie the Coens make is amazing. Early reviews are promising too.

Yes, I have seen it. I really really really like it. I am an avid fan of the 19th century and Wild West films. I also adore old firearms.
This movie is amazing because hey, it was modeled after the novel "True Grit" and not the movie starring John Wayne. The author grew up in the area where the book and movie True Grit took place.
Now if you like what I like (dark themes, history, the west and drama) you will love this movie. It had excellent acting in it.
Be aware though, it is not like the John Wayne True Grit. The new True Grit is a movie unto its own.

Over all score from me.... 9.3
I would give it a 10 but I had a few slight issues then and there with how a scene was played out. Honestly though, I have never given a movie a 10 besides Forrest Gump (my favorite movie). Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan and The Last Samurai was close though.
