Smash Rookie
Hello smash Boards community, I go by Spencer with online gaming, or Owl with close friends. I been a fan of smash since N64. I haven't been around or kept up with the last games in the series. I never played any of the characters in the Wii U smash 4 version. Anyways, I finally returned to gaming on a Nintendo system with the Switch about a month ago. Since smash on N64, I been a fan and amazed with the series over the years. It seemed to be that way with the more friends I met as I grew up and more games came out in the series. I'm ecstatic to say I'm thrilled to be back in time for the new release of Ultimate. Around melee's time is when I noticed the game to be more than just fun, but also a unique learning curve and meta to the characters. Since then I seen the game with so much more competitive play. Always enjoyed a challenge. Even back on melee when it was just with close friends and few others from the community during the time before online with Brawl. I'm glad to see a game I enjoy some much is shared by a always growing community over the years. Now in 2018 I'll be smashing with those seven close friends, workers and player from here that shared those same experiences and hours of game play as I did. I hope to get back into things and start smashing like old days. Not saying I was anywhere top tier but always enjoyed a friendly competition and always trying to learn more about the game. I hope to extend those memories with the new gamers I meet from the forums here and also even learn a few thing from missing out from the 4 version. Sorry for a long introduction but I been quite hyped these last few days. None the less I hope even one has a great day and is counting down theses last few days until Super Smash bros. Ultimate!
