Smash Champion
I searched to see if this was known already, but couldn't find anything, so if this is already known please don't eat me >.<
When I was in the wifi waiting room, I discovered that when Pikachu is on the ledge, he can jump off facing away from the stage. Normally when doing a ledge hop you have to press away and then jump, and Pikachu is facing the stage, but there's a certain angle of the "control stick" (I forgot the name >.>) that makes Pikachu jump off immediately facing the opposite direction. If it's angled a little higher Pikachu does the normal jump form the ledge, if a little lower Pikachu still jumps off immediately but he's facing the normal direction. It counts as a midair jump, so after he does it he can't jump again until he reaches the ledge/stage.
I find it hard to do consistently, but I've accomplished it in the waiting room and final destination, so I don't think it's a glitch. I've tried it with one other character but couldn't do it, but that might be because of my horrible tech skill.
It might be useful for edgeguarding... I dunno.
