i think you're overlooking kirbys priority and fsmash speed.

stages:

standard kirby noob tactic no.1 : fsmash left, fsmash again and again, and again to drill off the edge
getting better: fsmash *opponent rolls* fsmash the other direction. spam utilt when against dair happy falcons/foxs
3. maybe start to pivot fsmash and actually COMBO
4. now you're about the same level of smarts as a noob fox player ;__;

lesson: start with fox =x

saying specifically for hardest to start with...hmm, probably, Luigi or samus, Samus because samus is mostly mindgames, most noob dk's know how to throw well so it isn't that difficult besides wall combos, Luigi is just wierd to play as, if your hands are quick enough anyone can spam djcs....falcon's way too easy to combo with

What seperates noob kirbys from good ones is a lack of DI, mindgames, and way too many f-smashes, you can get around f-smash spam, those kirby's never uses n-air or f-air, and don't know how to recover well, they also think that swallow into up b works every time

Falcon isnt that easy to be good with it takes skill to get past doing his simple combos and predictable mindgames.

Falcon has easy combos but he dies easily and he's so fast that to accuratly control his speed properly and have a top notch falcon takes massive skills.

Heh, i have a biased opinion on this statement, but I agree lol.

Also, kirby threads are stupid. Someone should start a falcon combo thread. just because falcon is gosu.

But i guess i will say something relevant to the thread.

Because of kirby's amazing priority and speed combined with the fact that it takes no tech skill to play with him, he is the perfect character for new players to try out and get used to the game. however, I have found the players who only use kirby suck major ass with other characters. This leads me to believe that people who learn how to play kirby don't develop the proper mind games and/or techniques required to play this game properly. That is why kirby players are not respected.

That Kirby wasnt only noob, he was terrible aswell.

So true Kso, good post. I think Kirby is needed... There has to be one easier character to pick when your a beginner on the game (everyones been a beginner once)

the only noob way to play kirby is uptilting all the time and smash spamming

but if your opponent have at least a mid level, using a faster character can easily kill you plus kirby is light, a fox would kill him in so many ways

i dont know about this...my pikachu and falcon are far better then the rest of my chars but, i guess it is KINDA true, as you learn cancling short hopping and such all your chars do get better
