I forgot the name of that thing that made link into a wolf. it would work like this whoever touchs it will turn into a wolf. they will gain aglity and new A moves the B moves will be either netural or something else.

I know the chances of this item becoming real is zero and has about a thousand weak spots but I been having the idea of Wolf Mario in my head for a long time now.

hmm ive only plaed the game to the point where u become a wolf. Need to go to my friends to finish it. On one side ur dissing triforce. But on the other side. Everyone can use mushrooms. So why not. It'd be kinda of cool have everyone be able to use some type of triforce power.

It would be cool if the wolf was rather weak, and the item that transformed you was a throwing item that worked like a smokebomb of twilight..

I would be chaos, someone jumps into the heat of the battle, throws something that makes the other characters weak, and goes to town on three of them, getting hit minamaly....

But the idea of being a wolf for benefits, I like that too, it would be cool, say your character has good knockback, but very lax combos.. You turn into a wolf, Do a great 100 Damage combo, jump, un-transform, and slap him with a finishing arial

Mario wolf, blah... Here is a better idea...

Item: Transformation Sphere of Whatever (a made up name)

This item basically transform a character into a new character... Mario goes into his Raccoon suit, Luigi into his Frog suit, Link into Wolf form, Pikachu evolve/devolves into Raichu/Pichu and etc... Though, only problem is Kirby...

*edit*

Nevermind what I post, I just got myself a great idea...

Zamus, Still at the core really being samus, would probably just turn into Dark samus...

Or dark Zamus, like ZSS more damage, slower, and stronger...

I Dunno, but if there is an item like this, we can count on nintendo to make it work (I hope) ^-^

Trying this again...

Transformation Sphere of Negativity

Like the last post I posted about changing the character into a new character, the change is to give the character a negative effect instead of a positive one (Yes, its a toss able item)... So the Mario Bros. will still get their suits, except it strains them instead of helping them... Pikachu devolves into Pichu (due to the lack of popularity in SSBM), Link into Wolf Link (no Midna to help him), Samus/Zamus gets a bad virus, Snakes gets a cold, MetaKnight has no armor, Pit has no wings, Wario becomes good, Fox becomes sluggish, and Kirby transforms into Sleep Kirby... There, that's a better item...

I like the negativity idea, I really like negativity items in a four way, if you are hit with a mushroom of shrinky, you sure can bet that everyone wants your hide while you are weak, and this is the perfect time to test your reasourcefullness, throw a flipper in the air, and grab and throw people into it, use evasive attacks, and wait until your grow again...

I like the idea of layering, metal giant bunnyhood...

AHHHH!!!

I find the Shrink Mushroom as an advantage than a Giant Mushroom... Shrink Mushroom, you're tiny and its hard for anyone to lay an attack on you, versus the Giant Mushroom where your hitbox has just increased by 3 times...

Hmm. Sphere of Negativity?

Mario and Luigi would DEFINATELY transform into Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. That's just common sense. They'd even make the sound of when they get hit in SMB.

Yoshi would go into that little form from Super Mario World, the one where Mario has to carry him around.

Marth's Falchion would temporarily break, forcing him to use an iron sword, with less power and less range.

Mewtwo would be paralyzed.

Captain Falcon would rip his pants (see F-Zero GX) and be unable to run as he is afraid to rip them more or let anyone see his heart boxers.

That's all I've got for now...

I was thinking more of that one Pokemon episode where Giovanni equipped Mewtwo with that armor... I was thinking that that armor suppose to restrain it, so I'm not quite sure... If not, just turn it into Mew...

Though, I literally forgot about Link in Majora's Mask...

Good idea. The reason I thought paralyzed was because of the thought "how do most people catch Mewtwo without a Master Ball?"

I didn't think sleep would last long enough, and freeze was a little too akward.

But I like your idea better.

The Item in TP was the "Shadow Crystal" that allowed Link to turn into Wolf Link but you couldn't do it without Midna. IMO they should just let Link turn into Wolf Link/Midna as one of his new specials or smash token effect.

i remember playing 'gauntlet' games with my friends, the funniest thing was when suddenly one player touched an item and youd hear the game say 'player one is now pojo the chicken!'...anyway they should have an item that changes you into a chicken or something ridiculous like that.

People should either be Mushroomized or Scarecrowed a la Super Mario RPG.

Man mario characters have a lot of - things that can happen to them, Ness could be Diamondized, or have a mini ghost distract him. Link can have other - things happen to him BTW (check OoA/OoS/LttP).

As for New Items, how about a major life up item for each character? Samus E tank, Ness Kracken Soup, Mario= Mushroom with honey on it.

The whole wolf link thing -
Link transforms into Wolf Link because that is his form in the twilight realm. Zant, Midna, and Ganondorf have NOTHING to do with his transformation. Has anyone played Legend of Zelda :Link to the Past? in that game Link transforms into another form when he travels into the evil/dark dimension. Why? because he is in another dimension. The same thing happened to him in Twilight Princess.. He instead this time enters the "Twilight Realm." By the way.. Both realms are entered through mirrors in both games.. The Gerudo where banished into the Twilight Realm. Ganondorf and Midna are Gerudo.. Zant a powerful and evil sorcerer changed the Gerudo in the Twilight Realm into monsters which you battle in the game. Link's transformation probably has to do with how he is the chosen one by the Goddesses.[/B]

What I am trying to say is.. The idea of an item changing anyone into a wolf just doesn't work. Zant's magic turned Link into a wolf because it was filled with Twilight Magic. Midna also is the only one who now has that magic piece that can turn Link into a wolf. At the end of the game Midna is in her real form in the ending.. Ganondorf had put a curse on her, and now that he is dead the curse was lifted. So Midna/Link would be a bit odd.. Since now that Midna is in her real form and how Zelda gifted her with power of light, she could be a character of her own. This because she can handle living in the world of Light.

I could see the super specials working as character changers with only a few characters.. Samus/Zamus, Pikachu/Riachu, etc.
Link/Wolf? Not really..
especially with the ending in Twilight Princess.
Though if it happens.. I won't complain.. lol

**Warning SPOILER for TP**
The
"Shadow Crystal" (an "item" that does not require you to be in twilight to transfrom into Wolf Link) you get in the water gods shrine after the story of the ancients magic is told from Zant
is what could easily be used to make Link turn into Wolf Link/Midna from TP. It does make sense and just cause the
ending had Midna no longer in Imp form and the gateway was destroyed does not mean they have to make brawl from the ending of the that game. They make the characters move sets on what they were allowed to do in the gameplay not so much the ending only.

So, it could work for brawl no problem.

I could see it working just for Link though as a Zelda/Shiek transformation.. But as an item? Not really..
Midna was the only one who knew how to use it on Link.
If the item gets in.. it gets in.. but I personally doubt it will happen.
I also think Midna as a stand alone character in her real form would make a better character addition then Wolf Link/Midna.

It could be extreme cool if it was something like this.
Mario; Raccoon Mario.
Luigi; Vacuum Luigi
Kirby; Ninja Kirby or something
Link; Fierce Deity Link ofcourse
Fox; I have no freaking idea
Mewtwo; with that thing from the movie
Meta Knight; no freaking idea
Samus; better armor and stuff
I don't know the rest.
