I RLY SUGGEST THAT YOU BOOK A ROOM FOR FRIDAY (Preferably the same room so we arent having to move around too much but w/e). If you have ANY kind of trouble doing this or something let me know in a PM I will help you out cuz I wanna get us set for friday asap.

straight up bolt I wouldnt let anyone I dunno personally mooch off the room. there are going to be lots of freeloader smashers and ****. honestly we are spread out enough and some freeloader thats not from new england that you havent met and/or doesnt have the swift seal of approve shouldnt be allowed regardless. I really recommend that if ppl want to play in the hotel that they goto another room or keep to ourselves(maybe a few close new englanders or something). Im speaking from experience, rooms get ugly really quick and once you open your room for a smash party **** gets annoying. I really would recommend that we keep to ourselves. plenty of time to meet/greet ppl at the venue.

also pretty sure that the tvs are flat screen so lag *****......brawl tiem?


ALSO RLY IMPORTANT. I may leave on my own friday(very likely due to alternative plans). so like you guys rly have to step up and organize when you all are gonna leave etc. cuz buses from time square(chinatown) dun run for you solely.

you have a cell phone? give that number to everyone so whoever gets there first can contact you.(ive done this b4) BUT to be sure check with the hotel and see if theres any kind of confirmation number or something like that that we all can use. if not ask them if its okay to speak to you on the phone.(that way whoever gets there first can call you and have you speak to the receptionist)

yeah there no prob with that. they let you book it over the phone so the effect should be reciprocated as long s you can prove you are bolt (by having your credit card/state ID etc on hand when they talk to you). but yea h make sure to check with them

i get out at 2:30. i could get picked up from someone depending on where people are heading / meeting ? or something . tell me exactly where i should go so i can give details to my dad. hes not very reliable brecause he works so far around tristate. if i can figure out things early chances are things will run 200% smoother

chances are if someone could pick me up i could skip a class or something and leave at 12:40 or sometime around there. most of this is manageable(sp) but i doubt i could just skip the entire day as my mom is a bxtch about school. (i will ask dad tomorrow and talk to him if anything)

since I am solo'ing the trip i suggest you guys get into teams or whatever. Dunno how much exp you guys have navigating NYC but i do recommend that you read up on directions and stuff cuz there IS a walk from grand central(where the train drops u off in NYC from new haven) to chinatown unless u wanna take the subway which I dun recommend.

assuming trademark/mikemoney/zk/noodles will travel together on their own time since they usually do....the rest of you should make sure that you plan and stuff and try to leave roughly at the same time.

bolt u and slox traveling together right? garret/sox should go with ya'll and form group 2 if they can

I think it makes sense for the singles people to go together because obviously we both want to be at the venue for different times. I'm really not too keen on going to day 1 on time because people are going to be practicing for doubles and we're going to want to play people in singles. I wouldnt mind showing up 12-2 because Melee singles does not start till 3. So technically, we could leave in the morning and be just fine and save ourselves some $.

well at least you asked...

new haven station > grand central(mahattan) > chinatown(you have to walk there, unless you wanna take the subway which is a bad idea unless you are in NYC by nightfall) > baltimore travel plaza.....plank will pick people up from there and bring you to hotel in frederick.

If you never traveled thru NYC before I suggest reading a guide or like google mapping everything and having it on hand. You can get lost pretty easy(but not nearly as easy as you can in DC)

its a big terminal on the edge of downtown just past the shoreline. That bus should def make a stop there especially coming from hartford theres not a doubt in my mind that it doesn't stop there.

I got an offer to ride with Mogwai on Friday. If you guys don't straighten up and figure things out I'm going to hitch a ride with him. I dont mean to sound rude but you guys need to stop saying "I think we're gonna do this." We need to be 100% sure what the game plan is.

I need to know what people are doing and everyone should be mentioned/included in the plans so we make sure we all ****ing make it to pound.

If you guys have not noticed, pound is less than a week now and we really need to make our plans definite.

This includes Slox, Sox, myself, trade, noodles, mike $, zk, swift, etc.

EVERYONE.

I'm looking at 1 of 3 options now:

A-I go to grand central and get a ride to NY and then hitch on China Town.

B-I ride with Mogwai

C-I drive there myself.



I want to travel with the people I am rooming with (bolt, swift, noodles, trade, etc) but if you guys aren't gonna be sure as to what our plan is together, i'll get there myself.
