Smash Cadet
Alright, someone has probably discovered this, but I haven't seen any one mentioning it (sorry if I missed a thread).
While playing around with Pit's glide, I noticed something that I feel could be quite useful. Right before you "face plant" into the ground (when you fly into the ground without attacking or stopping the glide) use a glide attack. There seems to be a short animation, but you end up sliding across the ground, and are able to use ANYTHING you want, however in this position I'd recommend a F-smash if they aren't shielding. If you abuse gliding, most players will have to guess what your going to do. This is because Pit's glide attack has a high priority, so your opponent may want to shield just to be safe. While they're shielding, just use aim towards the floor, and use a glide attack quickly. You'll be sliding towards them with their shield up. Allowing you to grab, or get them into a combo.
There may be some mind game uses to this also. You can switch off between normal glide attacks, and canceled glide attacks, to keep your opponent guessing.
Once again, I'm sorry if this has been discovered already. I'm just trying to share my discovery with other Pit players.
