Ummm. what?man people need to stop with the GameCube controller the GameCube controller is not the only way to play smash
and wouldn't be harder to see the screen anyways so that was just stupid i you really have that big of a problem with playing smash on a 3ds then don't even play smash on a 3ds
I actually liked the sideways Wiimotes. Probably because of easier smash attacks.Ummm. what?
We dont have a problem, we just want accesable controls, next your gonna tell us to use sideways wii remotes.
I actually use a sideways wii remote because I'm playing project m on the wii u but I don't have a nuncuck yet so I just use a wii motes and it is pretty good if you know how to play use just need to learnUmmm. what?

Thank you the way i see it each smash game has a different controller that it is meant to be played with 64 is the 64 game cube is gamecube controller wii is wiimote 3ds is 3ds control pad and wii u is the game padman people need to stop with the GameCube controller the GameCube controller is not the only way to play smash

Not speaking for everyone, but I would really like this, at least for being home and playing all those modes that are only in the 3DS version (like Smash Run) with (slightly?) better controls. What's the point of calling this the 'handheld version' if you're just going to play it with a GameCube controller? Can you not wait until the Wii U version comes out?
You know, not everyone has a Wii U. Smash 3DS will be just as competitive as the Wii U version.I feel like if Smash for 3DS is still competitive even after the Wii U version comes out then this might be the way that a lot of dedicated players will play, however I just really can't see that happening due to the exact same physics and such of both games. There really just won't be a competitive scene for the 3DS version post release of the Wii U version because who would pick playing on a 3DS over playing on a Wii U?
People who don't have a wii u or the money to buy one and got the 3ds version i dont have a wii u so i have no choice but to be competative on the 3ds version but i'm sure there will still be competative players on the 3ds after the wii u version comes ooutI feel like if Smash for 3DS is still competitive even after the Wii U version comes out then this might be the way that a lot of dedicated players will play, however I just really can't see that happening due to the exact same physics and such of both games. Yeah definitely that's a good point, and it's a good way to win some more stuff if you're M2K. It is a cool adapter none the less, but it might actually be banned from competition in order to make the two games different in some manner come to think of it. What do people think about that possibility?People who don't have a wii u or the money to buy one and got the 3ds version i dont have a wii u so i have no choice but to be competative on the 3ds version but i'm sure there will still be competative players on the 3ds after the wii u version comes oout
At the least use a classic controller...I actually use a sideways wii remote because I'm playing project m on the wii u but I don't have a nuncuck yet so I just use a wii motes and it is pretty good if you know how to play use just need to learn
You can get 'competitive' in Smash without a Gamecube controller... Particularly in the handheld version...And the adapter is definitely a better way to play without a doubt, just not the most convenient. I think that's why it's getting hate. I'll probably only go out of my way to buy it if I REALLY want to get competitive with the 3DS version, but even still the circle pad pro is good enough imo
