kk, i ve been experimenting with Marth today and i found some stuff

Dair canceling or something

If you use an aerial, lets say, SH Bair,
when you land a normal SH Bair, you can see when Marth hits the ground, Marth still struggling to get him back up straight
BUT, since marth's SH is kinda big, use Bair and then before you land, use dair but you have to be VERY close to the stage,
if you do, then the bair is canceled with no lag,
teh same thing goes for Fair, but i dont know if other aerials would work
If you Fair, and use dair before you land, you will land quicker
if this has been already said, my bad then

Nair - Dsmash combo

This combo works at 0% or early percentages

Basically all you do is do a kinda of a late nair
you jump, and then wait for a bit (but you have to have enough time to do the entire animation of nair)
So you do a kinda of late nair and then Dsmash
My controllers busted or something so sometimes a dtilt comes out but that still works
i tried it in training mode and they classified it as a combo

Full damage Dancing Blade

Fat Characters like King Dedede are victums of this
If you do a Dashing aerial Dancing Blade of B->->->-> they will receive 19%, 18% or 17% while if you do a dancing blade on the ground, they ll receive around 13%
advantages of this is because of B->->->->s reliability, you can easily score 19% since sometimes B->->->-v is unreliable

iunno if these have been already said so my bad

Today, I found out that dancing blade spikes. >_>

I'll try out that stuff you mentioned. Hopefully it will be of use. I like to nair>dtilt instead.

overb>overb>downb will spike if you get the tip of the sword on the last hit to hit your opponent. When I did it, it wasn't a combo. I only hit with the last hit. It was so awesome that it made my day.(like seriously, I almost cried. :)) I'm not sure if it's known yet, but I thought I'd might as well mention it.

The nair thing is known, at least by me. I usually do a SH fair -> nair for correct timing. You can do some cool stuff with it though, like fair nair dancing blade or fair nair utilt. Fun fun

i used it so many times in melee the dancing blades spike. to get the spike in brawl you must tipper it, which makes it almost completely not useful.

Is D-Air after a F-Air really that great? I'd rather get a N-Air, B-Air, U-Air, or another F-Air after my first F-Air while landing, plus it plays more defensively to have to those moves rather than D-Air out on the stage since D-Air doesn't have too much horizontal range.

Plus doesn't D-Air have more landing lag than his other aerials?

Jebril, the dair after the fair has to be somewhat close to the ground, the dairs animation will not appear at all, but for some reason. when you dair somewhat close to the ground it pulls you down to the ground quickly
im sorry i dont have a vid here to show u guys but i assure you guys its true

It pulls you to the ground quickly, but does it allow you to move quickly after hitting the ground? If not, this finding is useless since you'll be on the ground sure, but you'll be landing with tons of lag that you're basically setting yourself up for a free stock.

Also, Fair autocancels itself so there's no need to use Dair to fastfall down. At least none that I can think of.

As for Bair to Dair, Bair only has lag from a delayed SH to Bair. In that case, you can't use Dair anyway. If you do Bair immediately after a shorthop, it'll cancel all the lag. If you fastfall a fullhopped Bair, the lag you'll get from landing will still be less than if you canceled it with a Dair.

If you mean tilt C-stick down from Bair, it'll cause you to fastfall from the Bair after it autocancels itself. So you're not really using Dair to cancel Bair lag.

it does allow you to move faster because the dair animation is not shown at all
kk im real sorry i cant provide a video but i assure you its true

Seems like fastfalling to me. Are you using the C-stick for aerials? If so, pressing down causes a fastfall unless it's set to Tilts/Attack. If you're using the control stick it's just cause a fastfall while ignoring the command for Dair.
