OK I may eventually turn this thread into a compilation of different possible desynchs, but for now I would like to mention four recent finds. Please let me know if any more explanation is required on any of the techniques.

*Please note that the discoverer is the member who brings the technique to the community's attention. These techniques may have been discovered by other players but not revealed to others.*

1. Quad Ice Block, discovered by Wobbles the Phoenix

This technique, akin to its name, is a way to fire four ice blocks in succession. By wavedashing off of a platform and firing an Ice Block before you leave the platform, the Ice Blocks will be canceled allowing you to fire more blocks or to do any technique, such as a landing desynch. Also, this technique can be used to do the Solo Ice Block Chaser. Simply cancel one block with a single Climber and chase after it, just like the standard Ice Block Chaser.

Solo Triple Ice Blocks: Platform cancel an ice-block, wavedash backwards to ice-block, slide off platform and ice-block a third time. The timing and spacing is pretty tricky to learn, but it's useful as a defensive spam tactic.

2. Solo Shield Squall, discovered by Mr. Derp

When shielding, a short hop followed IMMEDIATELY by a Forward+B will result in a Solo Squall, leaving the Climbers desynched. This can easily lead into a Nanapult then a grab. You can also have Nana charge a Smash attack while you are pummeling your opponent with the squall. Very useful for opponents who use a lot of aerials.

3. Leash Dance Desynch, discovered by Delphiki

This desynch is done directly from a dash-dance. A dash, dash, followed by a command will catch Popo in his sliding animation but Nana will take the command. I have coined it leash dance desynching because it must be done during a dash dance while Nana is within her 'leash'(or command bubble, as some call it). Very useful for Ice Block chasers, Blizzards, or charge smashes. This technique allows the player to use Ice Blocks, any Smash that isn't U-smash, and any tilt. Note: desynching on the second dash will have you facing the opposite direction you started from, the third dash will have you facing the same direction. Keep this in mind.

4. Leash Dance Dash Attack Desynch, discovered by Delphiki

I just discovered this one today. It starts out just like a Leash Dance Desynch, but instead, just after Popo turns around, jab (tap 'A' IMMEDIATELY after turning around, as fast as you can WITHOUT pivoting). Popo will jab, and Nana will enter her sliding animation. Unlike a regular Leash Dance Desynch, the LDJB allows Nana to do ANY ATTACK!!!! This includes Nanapults, SHFFLed aerials, Ice Blocks Chasers, WD Jabs, and wavesmashes! You can now Nanapult directly out of a dash dance, whilst attacking with a dash attack if your opponent strays too close! Also, one can have Nana short hop an aerial (preferably a Bair, also a Nair) to keep a moving hitbox just behind Popo as he dash dances. Very useful for stopping your enemies' pesky running short hop Nairs.

Try out these desynchs for yourselfs! Many possibilities abound for our noble Climbers!

I called the Leash Dash Dance failed pivotting, 'cause you know, it happens a lot when I mess up a pivot.

Unless it's something different than that? I'll check out that jab thing, though.

edit: hrm, mine is something different, since the other climber is stuck in the dash animation. i can't seem to get either in a slide animation with just two quick dashes.

ooo cool, the LDD is pretty common I think, but the LDDAD... That's news to me. Well I'll tinker with this and see what I come up with. Keep editing this and it'll probably become an advanced desynching guide over time.

Add another subsection to the quad ice-blocks for solo triple ice-blocks. Platform cancel an ice-block, wavedash backwards to ice-block, slide off platform and ice-block a third time. Timing and spacing is pretty tricky to learn, but it's neat as a defensive spam tactic.

Oh, and a suggestion for the LDD - dash in to an opponent, dash away, c-stick downsmash. Nana down-smashes and you don't. This allows you to risk a down-smash against a crouch-canceller, earning damage and punishing them in the lag of any attack they might decide to use afterwards. It also works nicely if they think you're going to grab and they spot dodge, since even if Nana misses you can run in and punish them for whatever they decide to do afterwards.

OK I'll add that. Pretty fancy :). I can hardly get the timing on the cancel, though. It's so hard for me right now. Does anyone know who came up with the Shield Squall? It was just posted a couple weeks ago, but I don't remember where.

Btw I love your sig.

Wow, I like that idea of dashing away and having Nana dsmash or w/e a lot. You could follow up w/a dsmash of your own if the block, then before the hitstun subsides, you could have Nana blizzard, since they'd still be shielding, then obviously grab. ****it, I need a cube to practice on so badly....

I hate to ask for help here, but I don't know where else to. About the ice block techs above;
How do you platform cancel the ice blocks? Whenever I Ice Block while falling, it bounces the ICs up in the air, so they don't hit the platform until after the Ice Blocks are out, and therefore, I don't really gain any time. And as for the wavedashing backwards off a platform and firing a block as I fall off, that never works either. The blue circle of 'summoning' the ice block appears, but the ice block either doesn't appear, or ceases to exist when I fall off the platform (because it hasn't been launched yet).
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

im not sure about the platform cancelling, but for the wave dashing ice blocks, you just have to shoot the ice blocks sooner, ur almost there just a little bit sooner...

The WD cancel is really hard to get the timing on. I've done it like twice, while practicing 0_o. chu12ch is right, you just have to shoot them sooner. You could try wavelanding at different places on the platform to change the distance you slide.

You'd have to ask Wobbles about the platform cancels, I don't know anything about those.
