He said that months ago... he knows how this kind of thing boosts the games hype and popularity, in my opinion is stupid to just have 3 third party characters, Eggman will probably be a boss though.

NiGHTS only didn't have a sequel because they thought they didn't want to tarnish the first game with a sequel unless they knew it would be better than the original
