All a single climber has to approach really is Bair(Not safe enough kinda alone since without the other partner there is no extra frames at the end) and Blizzard (Kinda long?) and to some extent: Squall and Nair.

If they lose their partner, they should at least get a buff since they wouldn't have have more grab combos, a buff would be Fair

Fair seems like something to buff if a climber goes solo, it's a nice attack in the air that covers a good amount of area, and maybe increase the startup lag of the attack so the attack can be viable when used alone and make it have less ending lag so that it's a somewhat of a safe move.

... Now to download the latest codeset, I am soo nub and clueless on how to put in codes into the SD card and start playing Brawl+...

Actually, I just found this out - you always control Popo, no matter what the costumes say.

By that, I mean this: even if the lead Ice Climber has Nana's appearance, it's still Popo. All of the attacks and such are Popo's. The game is set up so that the follower Ice Climber will always have Nana's stats.

On a related note, if you use a CSS to play as Nana solo, Nana doesn't have a Final Smash, which is interesting.

Okay, so let's talk potential buffs:

-Squall is given larger range, less lag, and a higher chance to freeze the opponent
-More hit stun is given to the icicle (neutral b)
-Side b no longer has any down grav applied to it while in the air and goes farther
-F-air has less lag
-D-air is more powerful
-all smashes are buffed

Anything else, or anything more specific?

When playing as a wild Squirtle, Ivysaur or Charizard you don't have a Final Smash either. That's because the Final Smash is tied to the actual Pokemon Trainer, and in the Ice Climber's case, Popo. A lot of other things are also tied specifically to the Pokemon Trainer, like his Pokemon's intros. If you play as any of his Pokemon solo, their intro just shows them appearing out of thin air, not a Pokeball.

You say regardless of their appearance, their attack properties makes the lead one always be Popo.
Well, I say that regardless of their attack properties, they change, because of their voice and appearance. You say Nana, I say secondary IC.

Oh, well, then I apologize for misunderstanding you. I wasn't specifically trying to call you out or anything; it just struck me as useful information to have if Nana (or the secondary Climber) were to be made into a separate character.

I mean, had I not tried it myself, I would have assumed that the stats would have changed with the costumes, so that if you controlled an Ice Climber with Nana's costume, you'd also get Nana's stats. It surprised me to see that this was not the case.

The idea for this project is to take either of the Ice Climbers (I suggested Nana because the cast needs more females) and totally re-do them.
