Neutral Game

What should I be doing in general in the neutral? I know to shdl or shl, but what are fox's best approaches?
Also, how would I get through a laser happy falco on FD? Once I get in on him, its a fair game, but his lasers are a pain.

You could full hop nair > shine tech chase grab > up throw chain grab.

Shine or power shield his lasers.
Dash dance camp to bait a whiff then grab or up smash.

Using fullhop and wavedash oos wisely are good ways to avoid lasers.

This question is matchup dependant. Watch top players and see what they do in neutral and pay attention to the matchup.
to see what a "textbook" fox does in neutral, I think it would be good to watch what leffen or Zer0 do. They might not be the best foxes, but imo they play very textbook foxes.
