I was gonna wait for them to post their results screen to see my exact place, however I didnt do too good
I beat 2 people, then lost. It was single elimination....so maybe that is a reason heres how it went.
In preliminaries, I fought a game and watch and lost. Fought a peach and lost....
In the tounrney(Amatuer Bracket.)
fought a Pokemon Triner. Won. Fought a Marth(uh oh) I won, somehow.
Fought ANOTHER Pokemon triner Won. Fought his pokemon trainer again. Won
Fought a Ness. Won, barley. Fought his Marth. Lost. Fought his Marth. Lost.....
but yeah. Im gonna start going to Chula Vista weeklys if my parents let me so I can get better. I was Ness the whole time. Cept once vs Game and Watch and once vs Marth.(I was Ike....bad choice vs Marth...)
I think I mixed up some matches though! I played sooooo many friendlys and I kinda forgot the exact order and EXACTLY what happened, (like the match I lost I think I was Ike once, but im not sure) but I know which ones i lost and won for sure.
There was like 70-100+ people there.
I dont think im gonna put my results on the front page... I think I got like 40-something...lol
Besides, im still relativly new to the tourney scene. Once I place in the top 10 in a tournament Ill consider myself "a tournament go-er"

I posted mine because why not? You only learn from mistakes you make. I would play melee too but.... I sort of am pretty bad at it... I used to be regular at it.

alright its been updated.pretty good results if I say though, lets all keep going to torunies and doing our best! I hope to just keep making an appearance at as many tournaments I can and just brawling, I think better results will come to us all with more practice.

When I went to oregon on vacation (i live in socal) and went to a tournament up there, I was really nervous cause I knew no one and everyone knew someone from socal was coming and they expected me to be really good, thinking I go and play with DSF all the time or something xD Id go to weeklies at peoples houses but my parents arnt into that.......
Also I should specify this is brawl only...

Blarg, play tons of friendlies when you go to a tournament. That's what I did and I went from being three stocked by everybody to getting 25th and I was able to hold some of my ground against really good players.
Ness isn't a character that once you pick up you can win a tournament with him or something. You have to be able to read the opponents really well to be able to work with him. That only comes with experience though.
I know, I just felt like posting my melee results lol.
I don't know if online tournaments count towards this...but if anything lagg HURTS Ness(as you all no-doubt know).

Sorry, online tournaments do not count. Still pretty goodd results, but as you said, lag hurts Ness(and everyone eles) and thus some matches you may have won or lost could have been very different in real life(I rarely play online due to lag`s effect on pkt)
Well figured It couldnt hurt. I assumed online wouldn't count but... As far as PKT lagg, it cost me one of my stocks against the second round Marth and I still beat him...pirate ship FTW(the stock it cost was when stage was falling so no water). Lagg wansn't really too bad on any of the matches, and nobody seemed to complain about it. And thanx for the compliment.
yah, still even if lag isnt"that bad" every online fighter has a tiny bit of lag, maybe even unnoticable, but its still not like fighting in real life

yup yup, i requested a sticky about 2 weeks ago...
I think its pretty good too, its organized by date, I could group it together differently but Im not sure I think this is the easiest way to see results unless I post best to worst results or something.....
