More Ness hate. When will this Nessism end? Don't you know you're supposed to judge the content of their character, and not if they can win!

Ness is bad on american version, but he is much better on japanese version, not only uair is better, also his recovrey is better, his DJC is more devstating, his utilt is even more broken and his smash attacks are better, thats why Sima looks so good.

He looks so good because he is really good. Just because Japanese version has a better Ness doesn't mean he's overrated... He's definitely a top player.

I didnt say he is bad... he's awesome. But he would look defintely worse on US version.
To give two quick examples, I've seen him and Megu (I think) do the utilt to uair to death in a middle dreamland platform. That would be impossible to do in the US version (utilt sends opponent more up at high %, and uair is weaker). Another example is the easier DJC shield break to up+b to death, that is much harder on US version due to the harder to shield break and the weaker up+b damage.

who cares if he'll look bad on the US version? why even say that if you know that both versions are different?

Stop before another flame-war starts.

Also, how is Sima overrated? Ness is better in the Japanese version, but I wouldn't say he's the Pikachu of that version.

I wouldn'y say Ness is the pikachu version of (J) but he should definitely jump a couple of places in the tier list.

Try to read the whole thread maybe you'll understand

obvious troll is obvious
That's what you always say when people tell you that you made a dumb post and then insult you for your stupidity.

Quite a frequent event.

lool @ the video. but seriously, ness can be really good in 2v2 games (as long as your teammate isn't stupid). If your teammate realizes that Ness's recovery is slow/predictable, then you'll have help staying on the stage.. Basically I would say ness is better in 2v2 games than in 1v1 because you have nothing to help you in 1v1 once you get knocked off, if the other player is good, you should be dead and not able to recover.
