Alright, so I just got a new 52" DLP HDTV a week ago, and I decided I wanted to play SSBM today, but it didn't turn out the way I expected:

There was at least 1/2 a second of lag from when I pressed the button on my controller to when it happened on the TV screen. Now, I haven't had this problem in the past with any other TV's, but I don't understand why this is happening now. I tried changing the picture on the TV, but that just made it worse. Does it probably have to do with the fact that I have my Wii, Xbox 360, and gamecube all plugged into my speaker for Surround-Sound?

Someone, please help! Thanks!

What this man said. There are component cables for the Wii and other systems that might help, but no guarantees. It's a possibility, anyway.

Yea I have that too.

I think new tvs have laggs compared to old tvs.

After all ssbm is a really old game almost 9 years now, could be that ssbm is just too old for the new system.
