Being new to actual online competitions, I have no clue on how to actually fight with tactics. My only idea when I was fighting with Meta Knight was, "KILL KILL KILL!". Usually it worked because the people I was fighting had no tactics either. So, if someone who is skilled in good tactics for meta knight, please help me. I have been playing this game too long for me not to be good enough against other competitive smash players.

It's hard to help without knowing specifically what you need help with. I can answer any questions you have, or if you could get a video on youtube of yourself playing, then I could critique it. The best place to start for is to read this thread: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=181827

It's kind of old, and honestly it's not a very good guide any more. But it will definitely teach you the basics. Another good idea is to watch videos of other MK players and see what they do. The best tactic with MK changes depending on what character your playing against too.

Watch videos of Mew2King. He's the best Meta Knight player.
And this game is really based on experience.. Fight as many people as you can, preferably good players.

Umm.. no. A new player, or even mid-level players should not watch M2K. Watch lower level MKs first.

The stuff M2K is doing in his match ups are not always "the best move". He is playing against his opponent and trying to pick moves that will throw them off, even when they are not the best. And most of his matches M2K is just goofing off. Would you ever tell anyone to learn from this video?

If I do post a video, it will be low quality. Just a heads up.

Lololol that video is funny as heck. And you're right about him goofing off. Then maybe he should check the "best vids of each character" thread and the "watching videos to learn" thread.
