I just seriously picked up marth recently and I've got some videos i recorded a few days ago. So any and all tips will be appreciated thank you. Just pick whatever matchup and stage you want to watch, i don't expect anyone to watch all of them >.< More on my channel at www.youtube.com/jamerwoodstarist7

i watched the first one in the list.

work on moving smoother and spacing your aerials in general. you know how to combo, but work on spacing and getting that first hit in. marth has first hit advantage on every character except sheik. space your aerials and if you ever get out of position (especially if they are going to shield grab you) dont be afraid to roll back. Marth has the best backwards roll in the game. remember, rolls are only punishable if they are expecting them and are in position to punish. being in their shield is probably the case for neither.

Thanks a lot :) watching the matches i noticed my spacing is pretty awful so i'll certainly work on that. i didn't know about the backroll though, i'll definitely try to incorporate that into my game.

falcon is the best character in this game.
QFT

However, it looks like you messed up a few times on your edge guarding opportunities, make sure to dtilt when they are off the stage. It gimps so nicely.

You do your approaching / retreating Fairs badly sometimes. They seem very awkward. That's just a spacing thing, but it looks weird sometimes and you get punished for it enough for it to be a problem.

A lot of grabs are wasted. At 55 or so, you can U-throw F-smash on space animals if they don't DI the throw but you have to walk a bit to the side. A lot of times you do Bair or Nair or something. And then lose what could have been an awesome Uair / Fair combo, or a free tipped F-smash. Don't throw your grabs away.

Also, regrab after your U-tilts at your lowish percents. It's not hard. Or tip a Fair / Uair and keep comboing or do more U-tilt. A lot of times you let Falco land after one U-tilt. I don't know if this is mindgames or friendly stuff, but don't do that in tournament unless you have a plan to tech chase him into a KO or something...

Crouch cancel Sheik's tilts and jabs for free grabs.
