+You arent spamming Dtilts enough.
-Dtilt > Dtilt (Trip) > anything pretty much. Its very open ended.

+Ftilts arent spaced correctly. That's something that you will have to learn on your own. And the space changes with every character.

+Your Bairs are also spaced incorrectly.

+Dont waste your Bthrows.
-Once you get your enemy to above 100%+ it kills when not diminished.
-Grab > Grab Attack(Depending on damage) > Cargo
From the cargo you can
-Uthrow > Anti-Air Game
-Fthrow to edge grab/space

DK's anti-air attacks are great his Uair is good, and his Utilt has a huge range

You're back throwing too much
not enough charging of the punch when you're not in close combat--remember, people play different when they know you have a punch charged up. A good strat is to grab, dthrow then chase, then you might even get a free punch. at the beginning of the match that's over 30 dmg.

not enough d-tilts.

grab more. I feel that yoshi's island is one of dk's strong stages, because you can ledge jump into a grounded spinning kong, with SA frames on startup. And the damage is obscene.

tilt more, meteor smash less.

Don't use smashes at low %'s. And use jabs.
first off, the only smash you should not use when they are low is d smash, the others are perfectly fine for whenever.(except against DDD and climbers). F smash is a great spacer and a great "back the **** off move". up smash can usually be fallowed up by an up tilt at 0-10%, has little cool down lag, and is your best friend against wario.

second, DK's jab is one of if not the worst jab combo in the game, it should never be used regularly. its best to use a grab since it leads to WAY more options. you can use that or you can use a d tilt instead of a jab since it is just as fast, less punishable, and can lead to another move in most cases especially if you trip them.

if you want to beat a diddy just watch some of my videos.

Ripple why do you use your uair when knocked off the stage? Does the UpB get SA frames when used on the ground.
I use dual stick DI to survive those hits so the first uair is on purpose but the others... IDK why I do that anyway

No he don't, but is neutral full charged yes
You are ********, you obviously have never played as DK if you don't know that he has SA frames in his up b.

FYI DK also has SA frames as he transfers from grab position to cargo position

Ok, u smash is ok at low %'s i guess if you don't mind stale-move negation, and the reason IMO you shouldn't use f smash that much at low percents is because it's one of those moves you can see coming unless you don't have much experience vs. DK. And ya d tilt pwns but sometimes it's also good to mix it up a little.

Thanks. I wanted to test it out as an approach against projectiles like Mario and Luigi.

You didn't seem to do too bad, the only reason I believe you lost is because you fell off early.

I'd definately advise you to use Dtilt a lot more. Remember that Diddy is a lot faster than you, so he cannot be allowed to get inside your range where he can outspeed you and take advantage of the game's momentum.

Diddy's main weapon is pressure game, reverse it by charging you're punch. People will be more cautious when approach. At higher percentages, they'll probably stay on the defensive, too.
