need help with marth!

This thread will get you nowhere if we don't know what your skill level is. Try posting a video, or reading 'supak's guide to Marth' (try doing a search) and then ask questions.

I'm assuming your quite a noob so heres a couple tips. To begin with, try stringing together some combos with his short hop double fair and fast fall it whenever possible. you can end it with a nair. the fairs auto cancel so F or D smash always right after you land if the enemy is in front of you. Use up B out of a shield for a good KO move. Use forward B,B,B up B when enemy has low damage to rack it up and to start a combo. Its important to mix up the approaches to avoid predictability, i often use fair (learn to short hop fair retreat), nair, dash, RAR bair, and the short hop into charged shield breaker always surprises em with its range and is great if your playing someone who likes to shield grab marth. These are just a few strats that work for me. I like to stay on right on top of my enemy because marth is a very good aggressor.
