Smash Lord
So, just an idea I came up with. Mostly because I need a secondary. So this is how it'd work: The first person posts the way they play Smash, who their main is, who they've tried picking up a secondary, and general things about them that might help. Then the next five people give suggestions for secondaries to pick up as well as their own situations (You should also mention which smash game you play, too). So it would be a continuous flow of people getting advice on who to play, ideally. This would keep going until we get bored. If it's a stupid idea, just let me know.
So, I'll start:
I play Melee. I currently main Marth and have been trying to focus my efforts on him. Before that I had a ton of characters I was moderately good with, but since I've been focusing on him I've realized that I hardly know how to play anyone but Marth, so I'm trying to find a suitable secondary. I've tried playing the following in the past: Ness, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Peach, Doctor Mario, Donkey Kong, Game and Watch, and that might be about it. I typically end up being a very overly aggressive player. I can be patient when necessary, but typically I'm always going in for the kill. I feel like the characters I've moved along with the best are Captain Falcon and Ness. Ness I'm currently having a bit of trouble with (and it's kind of hard to play him in the tournament environment). I've considered picking up Fox or Falco, but I don't just want to do what everyone else does (maining Marth and Fox). I kind of want to play a unique secondary, though. Captain Falcon I feel is the best bet, but I feel like with my aggressive nature I'd just go around kneeing all the time.
