Narth's F-Throw is a lot better than people think

Seriously though, so many mindgames can be done by just throwing your opponent forward, many Marth's do F-Throw than F-Air, and many people being thrown by Marth's F-Air no just Airdodge, you pretty much force them to Airdodge....there's a ton of things you can do, from just this mindgame.

Jump and than land with them and grab them again (Oh BTW, Marth's F-Throw chaingrabs at low percentages against other Marth's not sure of other characters).

Or you can just run with them and charge and U-Smash till the Airdodge ends, the F-Throw doesn't really "combo" but it's a very good place to get situation, even Up B can be good from it but I haven't actually tested it myself.

I really haven't given this too much though, but you're right, it does place the opponent in a less than favorable position--with or without the chain grab. Due to its minimal knockback, even at high percentages, I'm surprised this hasn't been heavily discussed yet. I guess that's due to the fact that most Marths usually follow up a fthrow with a dtilt, db or the ever popular missed fair. There are a lot of things that this could lead to if you're able to read your opponent correctly. I guess it all boils back down to Brawl being more about mind games than Melee; should you wait for the air dodge... or is it even going to come?

this is my 3rd favorite move marth has. It's the best tech chase and tech chasing is the closes you get to fun combos in this game.
