I'm not a big fan of really ****ty players, ya know the ones that aren't going to advance at all in any part of the tournament including pools, decide they and a couple other really ****ty players are gonna take up a couple of T.Vs so they can play "serious friendlies" before the tournament starts to get, "warmed up".

Now, you're probably thinking,

"Wow NK, you're a huge ****." Well guess what? **** you. I guarantee you every single good, or hell even DECENT player, has thought to themselves either subconsciously or consciously, "Wow I can't even get warmed up 'cause there's a ****ing swarm of ****ty people taking up the T.Vs."

It's either:

A) They're playing friendlies with all 1000 of their ****ty friends having, "fun".

or

B) They've called turns on a T.V where a good player, who managed MIRACULOUSLY to get a T.V, is plowing through all 1000 of them so they can say, "Dude holy ****! I got to play Zelgadis and he ***** my ****! DURR HURR HURR HURR HURR."

I'm not saying ****ty players shouldn't be allowed to play matches before a tournament. I'm just saying I find it really ****ing annoying when they do.

i used to hate people who did that but now i see exaxctly why they do it. fod really should only be a counterpick, it's definitely not neutral. the platforms raise OUT OF NOWHERE AND **** YOUR **** UP THAT'S BULL****

i will ban that stage in every match i play except against peach. against peach its FD so i dont get chaingrabbed to 100%.

FoD makes me angry to play. I have no room to move, the platforms are freaking gay. edges are high so i get dsmashed by fox/falco or dtilted by marth REALLY easily. its just gaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy

i love all the other neutrals. and kongo 64 because of lovage training with me there.

that is to say, I think play on FD differs more from the other 4 stages than play on FoD does

and I don't truly understand how there's such a ruckus about FoD but there isn't a similar complaint about YS by the same people... unless of course they just want to remove a stage because 'I don't like it'

FoD has different 'problems' than YS, though. Most of the issue seems to be with the low platforms on FoD moving around.

it's the most neutral stage in the game, with a slight disadvantage for fox/marth because you can't angle and hug the walls with up+b

i agree. the cloud and shy guys fux sht up more than moving platforms. and FD changes a lot of matchups, things are played very differently on that stage compared to the others

maybe cuase you're fox it'll end there a lot oscar, but if i'm ever playing a falcon, marth, or sheik, i'm sure as hell not playing on battlefield

and practice man, falcon can only get chain grabed from like 2-60/70%, but FD i feel is better for falcon than it is peach

dash attacked probably, but you can't get faired if you DI the dash attack correctly, but getting hit at 70% is a lot less devistating then like 110 for fox/falco

that's my definition of neutral if pressed (similarity to "other" neutral stages)

I don't think there's such thing as a neutral stage, and if there was, there would only be one in existence anyway and all game 1s should be played on it
