Not sure if this is the right spot to post this...but whatever, lol.
Back in August my Wii began to stop reading any discs. My Wii is hacked, and I did use Homebrew quite often around the time the error occured. I do know though, that the failure of discs being read has nothing to do with Homebrew because I have two other friends whose Wii's have had the same issue and neither of them have hacked consoles.
Note: I have tried the Wii Lens Cleaning Kit, and it didn't work.
So, my main questions are these:
1. If I were to remove Homebrew Channel and send it into them, would they be able to "trace" any existence of Homebrew being on the Wii prior to it being sent in for repair?
2. If so, how much would it cost for them to repair it?
3. Would Nintendo update my system before sending it back to me?
