When I joined this website, I loved the fact that I can use my fat to get a quick laugh from people, anyone. But, during the course of the summer, I decided it was enough. I was 15, 5 foot 10 and 205 pounds. That's not healthy, and the redicule was getting to me emotionally. In laments terms, I was tired of everybody's bs. It was time to lose the weight.

So, after two or three years of telling myself that, I went through self doubt in my head: "You'll just do the same thing as last time!" "Why even bother? You'll never lose the weight!". So, I took a different approach: Instead of trying to get my lazy a** up to do the P90X or Insanity exercise videos, I decided to watch what I ate. It was one of the best things to ever happen to me.

It was so simple: Instead of getting bored, and deciding to eat, I decided to tell myself, "No. I'm going to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't need snacks. And I don't need soda". This was an ENORMOUS change for me, as I'm used to constantly stuffing my face with whatever's in plain sight. I planned on doing this for the next month, when school was getting ready to start.

School starts.

I'm now 6 foot, and 190 pounds. When I saw the scale the day before school, I nearly cried. I felt so accomplished. And I look so much better. Girls are on me now
, and everything's so much better. I'd never do this to myself again. And it was so worth the work.

I understand were you are coming from.
I was homeschooled all of the way through middle school and high school. I had connections so I could do stuff outside of the home often, but I was always at home. Since I got very little exercise I never really used up any of the calories that I was eating. I pretty much graduated in 09 and started going to college.
Anyways, I was over weight. At my peak I got to about 267.

I decided last year to go into the military. To do so I needed to lose weight. I drug my feet around and never really worked out that much. Starting in about July or so I decided to kick my own ***. I have a very low metabolism. This means I cannot eat 800 calories and expect not to gain weight (well, you get the idea). So I broke 3 meals into 5. I had 4 small snacks through the day and then one meal at night (dinner). I cut out sugar, cereal and pretty much everything I liked. I then started walking every day. I would walk for about 2 hours a day. At one point in October I walked 17 miles (like 6 or 7 hours of walking time if memory serves me right). I walked cross country, on the train tracks, down ally ways, behind old buildings, by the river... you name it in my area and I was there.

Anyways, the Navy has recently accepted me. I am 6' 1" and I weigh 234 lbs. now. I would have lost more but I gained muscle too.

I am 5'3 or 5'4 , I am right now cutting off what I do the most, SODA. I was 148-150 pounds now I am on 142, and planing to go down till 132 lbs.

good stuff man :D

even though I have a weird body shape since I have a large back, large arms so that it makes me to weight more than I should when comparing to my height. Edit: I can touch my knees with my hand while standing still.

oh , I am 21 years old. ( I'm really short I know)
