Hey! I love Pokemon, so I might as well be part of the Pokemon forum! Please rate my team, and tell me and suggestion! I'll show their moveset, what role they play in my team, the item they're holding, their natures, EVs, and their highest/primary stats!

Heres my team:

Umbreon: Wall of my team; Bold; Moveset-Toxic, Mean Look, Wish, Confuse Ray; Leftovers; Defense/Sp. Defense; EVs-255 HP, 153 Defense, 102 Sp. Defense

Espeon: Special Sweeper; Timid; Moveset-Psychic, Morning Sun, Hidden Power, Sunny Day; Petaya Berry; Sp. Attack/Speed; EVs- 255 HP, 255 Speed

Vaporeon: Wall of my team; Calm; Moveset-Surf, Ice Beam, Haze, Rest; Leftovers; Sp. Defense; EVs-252 HP, 176 Defense, 82 Sp. Defense

Jolteon: Special Speedster; Impish; Moveset-Thunderbolt, Hidden Power, Substitute, Thunder Wave; Petaya Berry; Sp. Attack/Speed; EVs-255 Speed, 255 Sp. Attack

Flareon- Physical Attacker; Lonely; Moveset-Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Quick Attack, Hidden Power; Leftovers; Attack; EVs-255 Attack, 255 HP

You might want to get your jolteon to come from a special attack nature, fire fang for flamethrower would be nice.

Impish is indeed + Def - Sp. atk. You want either Mild (+ Sp. atk - Def) or Modest (+Sp. atk - Atk). You can tell by what food it likes btw, Dry is + Sp. atk nature, Spicy is + Atk, Sour is + Def, Bitter is + Sp. Def, and Sweet is + Speed.

For a jolteon, its nature should be modest or timid so that neither of its defenses are decreased.

It doesnt matter to me. Jolteon will still have 287 Sp.Attack (which is the Max for a Hindering Nature), and a sturdy Defense. Plus, add on the max Speed!

No, it WON'T have a sturdy defense. No EV's and a +defense nature gives 172 Defense, that's incredibly low. It still wont be able to take a hit and now you left it's two best stats, Speed and Special Attack, at below average levels.

If it were me, I would've said a Modest Nature! Plus, please dont say "My lord, I can't say anything about this team except to start a new one. That Jolteon made me cry a bit. Also, Eeveelution teams are neither original nor good." That kinda offended me, let me do what I want with my team! I appreciate your opinions, but please dont say anything offensive like that!

Horrible lead. 90% of leads nowadays carry Taunt which means on turn one this thing becomes useless and Struggles away 25% of its health. As long as this pokemon is your lead it is nothing more than dead weight

Espeon: Special Sweeper; Timid; Moveset-Psychic, Morning Sun, Hidden Power, Sunny Day; Petaya Berry; Sp. Attack/Speed; EVs- 255 HP, 255 Speed

Special Sweeping Espeon? Does it have 255HP or 255 SpAtk EV's? Why give Sunny Day? Nothing on your team can use the support, not even Espeon itself, except for morning sun, in which case you might as well just use Wish/Protect as you at least stave off one hit. This thing wont work btw, as Scizor will OHKO it with ease. And why Petaya Berry? Why not just Calm Mind once?

Vaporeon: Wall of my team; Calm; Moveset-Surf, Ice Beam, Haze, Rest; Leftovers; Sp. Defense; EVs-252 HP, 176 Defense, 82 Sp. Defense

The only good pokemon on your team.

I've been meaning to ask, what exactly are the Hidden Powers you're using? Do you even know? Either way this thing is rather worthless as it's low SpAtk will leave it entirely walled by just about every special wall in the game

Smogon and Serebii's Flareon sets suck. Drop Quick Attack for Super Power and shove a Life Orb on this thing. It's slow but it can at least hit semi hard.

Glaceon: Special Sweeper; Mild; Moveset-Ice Beam, Ice Shard, Hidden Power, Double Team; Petaya Berry; Sp. Attack; EVs-255 Sp. Attack, 255 HP

Double Team is banned. Petaya Berry probably wont activate as any STAB Fire move or STAB Fighting move will OHKO you. This thing is stupid slow and Ice Shard isn't going to hurt anything with its extremely low Attack. You might as well pull the HP EV's into speed and throw a Choice Scarf on it and drop Ice Shard for Shadow Ball(Good luck on finding a 4th special move to cover Double Team though)

What do I think? I think this team sucks and there's good reasons that the Eveelutions(with the exception of Vaporeon) have mostly fallen from grace in Standard. None of these pokemon are good at doing anything other than Baton Passing(Once again, Vaporeon, exception) Their movepools are horrendous and they do not mesh well with each other. If you use this team, you will lose.

OH, I read the OP only, sorry.

For flareon, you can look at Umbroen's (the mod) flareon entry in the strategy dex sticky.

Glaceon, could use blizzard or avalanche instead of double team, or swagger, which could buy you some time.

If you're afraid to be 'offended,' then why post a team here? We take the game seriously here, and you aren't quite on our level yet.

*sigh* You don't understand the purpose of this subforum. The Rating Room is about competitive Pokemon Battling, not casual like this. It's like you're... posting in the (Melee) Smash Backroom, without knowing what Wavedashing is. I'm sure you'd be able to beat your friends and whatnot, but in the competitive scene, it gets easily demolished.

If you don't believe me, test it on Shoddy Battle.

Yeah, you have to expect to get flamed, especially in forums like this, where it's all about the competetive scene and metagame.

In short, it's not nooby, but not exactly professional.

Flamethrower! Its More accurate and More stronger!

You're forgetting the physical/special factor. Fire fang is Flareon's strongest physical fire type move and Flareon has an amazing attack stat. If Flareon would use a special fire type move, I think it would use Overheat. Please read more about competitive Pokemon before you post in an RMT, jusaying.

To be perfectly honest im guessing he's meaning stuff like.....

- Blissey (massive HP and decent defense)
- Aggron (up to about 504 max defense, Average HP)
- Claydol (Good in both defenses, average HP)

Those kind of defenses. Consider them. do some research

for umbreon you may want to change wish to moonlight for instant health

you dont really say what hidden power your espeon has so im guessing it is ice or grass but since u dont really say i would say change it to shadow ball

vaporeon is fine

jolteon should have timid over impish since it is only made for about 2 or 3 turns and it is supposed to kill fast, die fast or raise stats the pass

overall your team is a standard team that is used as a joke because i have seen at least 3 people that have this team but it was less balenced. they were alright but didnt really have the power to sweep my team. umbreon is probrally your best pokemon and vaporeon is second. otherwise go with what u want
