My Style

Hi, I main Captain Falcon, from the very beginning I played with him (just SSBM) and if I look back, I've gotten pretty good the last two years.
My question for you good stuff out there is how to improve my style.
Let me explain it a bit for you.
My style is based on always sticking to my opponent, always stay around to push him with attacks, combo them with grabs/n-airs/u-airs/b-airs/knee's .
I'm always trying to distance myself from the opponent just enough to not get grabbed, but that's a thing I still got to work on.
I use Raptor Boost frequently, whenever possible, I do this sometimes when throwing.
Techniques I use:

-L-Cancel (with R :ohwell:)
-Dashdance
-SHFFL-ing
-Crouch Cancel (sometimes, most of the time I'm in the air..)
-Teching
-DI (working hard on it)
-Edgehops (alot)

The only things I don't use are Wavedashing and JC-grabs.
Should I bring these 2 in?

And finally, should I remove Falcon's neutral-a on ground out of my play style?
Cause it works fine for me, I can't count the number of times I punch-punch-knee'd em' and finished em' off with the Knee Smash, wether they teched or not.

No this is finally :p, I try to play mindgames from time to time, but I don't think they are really effective...
That's about it, let me know please :)

Well even with no video I can still give you advice. Definitely bring JC grabs into your game, they are useful for juggling certain characters and eliminating lag from missing an approaching grab. Wavedashing isn't neccessary for Falcon but it helps, especially if you don't know how to moonwalk. Can also WD to edgehog.

You say you raptor boost whenever possible, and I'm not sure if thats an exaggeration but do not overuse it and become predictable.

No need to stop using the neutral a combo in your play, but if you can pull off the Gentleman consistently, it will help a lot to give yourself breathing room at certain times.

Mind games are pretty important for falcon, namely because he can get combo'ed easily by several chars, and mind games can help give you an opportunity to unleash a combo of your own. Dash dancing is a start, empty short hopswork too.

Try not to do alot of Raptor Boosts, they are easily shield grabbed. Ledgehops are really useful. Ledgehop a Knee into them at a decent %. If they are close enough they get sent out of the stage and are most likely dead

I don't mean to be overly harsh but threads like this don't help players unless they suck.

So infact, I actually complimented you, saying you needed a video.

Be grateful.

Vids are important. Going into a random forum saying, Ihave trouble with raptor boosting too much, then look at the answer right there. You have trouble raptor boosting too much? Hmm, why not Raptor boost less? And that probably isn't your main mistake, people have habits that they need to get pointed out for them.
