i'm not sure why, but i think saving them on the sd card increases the chances of them becoming corrupt. I have had this problem too, but i have noticed that saving them directly on the wii lowers the chance of this occuring. but again i don't know what causes it.my replays are suddenly becoming corrupted. what is the cause of this? i noticed 3 became corrupt within the last couple of days. for the record, i am using the same gct i always have been. nothing's changed.
Can you give me that? You should probably just enable the 1000 snapshots/replays code and store them all on your wii. Or at least save the best replays on your wii.

That is exactly what happened to me, it happened when I got the Nightly Build w/ File Replacement 3.5. If I try to scroll through the replays for more than 10 seconds, my game freezes too. Except when I boot the game normally, all of my replays go back to normal.I know that I've had the problem of the wrong image/stage name combination showing up on a match (ie. something like it saying lylat and showing the homerun contest image, but the match was on yoshi's island), which has happened to almost all of my replays, but I can still view them all fine. It may be a result of the "save nametags in replays" code, which obviously changed how the game stores replay data in order to work. What doesn't make sense about that is that my old vbrawl replays were also affected (which I left saved on the wii so that it automatically goes to "save to sd" at the end of a match).
You can save a replay with a different song using the button music codeNever had that actually, music codes could easily affect replays I believe. Make sure you don't change music with that.
does that work online, unrestricted color choice?i've only used file replacement, custom css, indpendent pokemon, infinite pt stamina, long replays, unrestricted pause camera, unrestricted color choice.
Its probably some bad sectors on your SD card 90% chancemy replays are suddenly becoming corrupted. what is the cause of this? i noticed 3 became corrupt within the last couple of days. for the record, i am using the same gct i always have been. nothing's changed.
Same thing, but I'm using vBrawl, and none of those codes.I know that I've had the problem of the wrong image/stage name combination showing up on a match (ie. something like it saying lylat and showing the homerun contest image, but the match was on yoshi's island), which has happened to almost all of my replays, but I can still view them all fine. well the unrestricted color choice may not work online(haven't really tested). but it won't cause a dysencdoes that work online, unrestricted color choice?
also, i have been using the same gct for a good month now, so idk why the most recent ones froze, i never have more than 10 at once, and maybe 8 or so shapshots. but once i rebooted the game it worked. so dont delete so hastily
