Strange thing on this order: it says that it's shipping "on or before" the 24th, but on the same order page it says the game is releasing the 31st. I'm wondering if, by a longshot chance, Nintendo will still be shipping their first copies to folks who preordered, and then changed the release date because they didn't have enough copies to meet non-preorder demand. So, in that scenario, there's a chance some folks might get it early. Is that precedented on a major title that anybody can recall? The only one I can think of isn't a great example: I got Spider-Man 2 a week early from my local game shop with a preorder, but the games aren't comparable, and neither are Activision and Nintendo's street date policies.

My PlayAsia order still says it's shipping the 24th

Play websites have a habit of sending pre-ordered items well in advance, moreso if it's to an abroad address. I recieving a season of South Park on DVD in the UK a month or so before it was released in the USA. It's possible they're just sending them out early like usual.

Actually my Wii arrived in 2 days. I actually missed the first delivery attempt because I wasn't expecting it to arrive so early.
That aside, my Brawl pre-order also says it will be shipped on or before the 24th. I hadn't realised until I saw this thread and then checked my own order. It would be amazing if they do send it that early.
Back in October when Mass Effect for 360 was going to be released in the US, many people got their copy over week early from several stores by simply asking if they had any in stock. You know, many shops had the game in storage well before the actual release date. Usually there's a big sticker on the package that says not to sell it before that and that date, but sometimes the cashkeeper may just ignore it and sell it anyway.
If you see a copy of Brawl on show somewhere, go ahead and ask if you could buy an one. Don't try it in game stores though, as every employee there knows what you're trying.

As some one who's been ordering stuff from play-asia for years...I know what's up. It's just a small computer error.
Your order (presuming they have enough to cover all the orders) will be shipping out normal schedule around the beginning of next week. The 24th is just a system glitch that doesn't mean anything, and they'll probably correct by Monday/Tuesday at the earliest.
