Roll call! Has anyone seen Planet Wisp, Chaos (Ablaze), or Hisstocrat's Battle Theme yet?

The lack of Paper Mario medley in Sm4sh U is very suspect, considering the only other songs from the 3DS version that didn't find its way to to the Wii U is the Kirby's Dreamland chiptunes.

Makes me think there's a secret Paper Mario stage that can't be allowed to be revealed yet, and the song's on there.

That would be amazing. Also, have there been any Rhythm Heaven songs yet? That's a franchise that is begging for music in Smash, but I haven't seen any. Hm...

I don't think the Paper Mario stage will appear on the Wii U, but hey, here's hoping for the medley to be unlockable. So I can get some Sticker Star overworld going on, yee

I'm all for Crisis City too but it probably won't fit well with the Windy Hill theme. Though I would have preferred Chemical Plant or Planet Wisp for Sonic's stage this game but nooooooo. Green Hill and Curvy Green Hill it is.

Yeah, so far it's mostly 1st stage songs and vocal themes. Rooftop Run being the odd one out...

Man, Pac-Man and Mega Man gets loads of cool remixes. But Sonic aka the only veteran 3rd party fighter, gets just songs in the same renditions we've heard years ago. I'm pretty disappointed.

You forgot to mention one thing: the brawl fire emblem composer who worked on pm64 music got credits for both series while in bawl, only fire emblem was credited.

We know it has to be pm64, because it;s not like saki who got it for TTYD. The fact that we heard the medley in the direct almost confirms the song to be in the game, but it would have to be unlockable.

If I add the 2 pieces together, it would indeed mean that the stage could happen. Inteesting fact, M&L music got inconsistently repped on 2 unrelated stages to m&l. smg and yoshi new stage have them. So, it leaves the possibility of not having the stage, but getting at least one and maybe 2 songs unlockable is indeed suspicious.

A Paper Mario stage would be amazing, although I'd prefer a TTYD one just because it was my favorite in the series. But as long as it's not from the terrible Sticker Star I'm fine with anything really.

Not to be a buzzkill or anything but I do feel like it is worth pointing out. Paper Mario Medley does have something sort of in common with the unaccounted for Kirby music. They were songs most made to fit the transitions of the stage they played on. It wasn't really so much a general medley of Paper Mario as the music of the 3 parts of that stage strung together. I could seem them being cut due to that. Would be a shame, it was still a nice song

It could be that since a lot of people haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles yet, they want the original music to shine and have people say "Yo, this music rocks. I should check out the game".

That could be it, although iirc the Super Mario 3D Land Main Theme/Beach Theme one also fit to change depending on the location of the stage (it was reeeallly obvious too bc it would pause for a few seconds when it got to the certain part of the stage that triggered the transition) and that plays on Delfino Plaza.
