You used the following moves in order of how prevalent they were(approximate):
-fair
-bair
-fsmash
-dsmash
-dancing blades
-uair
-dair
-dolphin slash(recovery only)

You were missing
-ftilt
-dtilt
-shieldbreaker(forgiveable because they didn't shield much)
-dtilt
-jab
-dtilt
-Dolphin slash offensively
-dtilt
-utilt(but I can't blame you too much for this one either)
-dtilt
-counter(good job)
-dtilt

dtilt

Work on your spacing. Use dtilt more. Don't spam smashes so much. Never use dair on stage. Work on that for now.

UP+B?

I mean, doesn't it strike to you as the attack of dolphins? That thing is vicious.

The following link is a video of VietGeek. He is the best example of how you use Fairs and dtilts to create zoning, which make it very difficult for your opponent to approach, and opens up opportunity to punish. Dancing Blade should be your primary punishing tool. This is a simple video, but it demonstrates what you need to learn very well.

I'm scared

But don't take it negatively. Just work on it. Honestly, Marth is a hard character to play correctly. My advice to you is to watch some videos of good Marth players. Pierce already gave you a great example of a marth with good spacing(viet). NEO is someone you should def. look for. Just look around and watch some videos to see what works and what doesn't. Pick up what you can and get a feel for Marth's game.

Ya, don't ue Dair, and use Dtilt instead, Ftilt is good for taking out SH approaches, Up B out of shield is amazing too. Also don't use the down variation of Dancing Blade (Side B) because it is easy to DI out of and then punish.

Ty for the vid, now I see I need to be more careful and not so offensive all the time. It's just that the only char I use seriously atm is Lucas, and while looking for a second I picked up marth. I'll work on my game, ty to everyone who helped.
