As of yesterday, I've had 3 people tell me I'm too black to like MLP

I'm mixed, and the only person that had a blatant problem with it initially was my mother. She's come to not care about it any more, but I've taken the precaution of not being ostentaious or showy with it, as to keep her from worrying over it again. Any pony purchases must be secretly done.

It's fine if you want my body but really the names are a little weird bro.

Well, after some experiences near synonymous to the events or plot of The Last Roundup, I feel Applejack is definitely the character I can empathize. We're practically congruent in many moral aspects, including integrity, a meticulous concern, and we can get into the competitive heat of moments, but we do not let that distract the other aspects thereof. celestia's already an important character. she appears in every episode, in the opening. just like angel (another important character)

philomena is irrelevant in all but one episode, and in the episode where she matters, she trolls harder than celestia herself

But it really isn't. Even Daring-Do is a better pony and she's fictional.

A much better world considering that Dash is THE truth, rather than among other truths.

That's why "in a sense".

Everything from the book you saw was through Rainbow Dash's reading of it, and from her thoughts on it. The images from her head, and everything. If somepony else were reading the book, they might have a different vision in their head about how all the details look around them, as you don't see a 100% full picture description on things (mostly because those are movies) and in a sense, Dash created the Daring-Do you see in the episode.
