MY first team battle as ikeD:

well i went to PolyBrawl in NYC this weekend and signed up for both teams and singles.
(didn't do too bad in singles mostly using ike,hooray being top 10._.)

MY team was both ike and ZSS
it actually went pretty well,if it wasn't for my partners suicidal moves,we probably would have moved up to at least round 3 lolD don't worry pepsi,not mad at you!!)

anyway this is round 2 loser brackets
only manages to get 1 replay,and i did my best on the quality lol

i don't think it was a bad team at all,everything went well:D
i will try again next week,and post more vids of my performance with ike +ZSS

Definitely let your ZSS buddy handle anything off stage. You did good to just stay on the platform since you were up against ROB and MK.

You really need to let your partner know what they did wrong. Sit down with them, be direct and upfront with them about it. Your here to win remember.

You need to be working as a team, and if your partner knows they can make that kill off the platform WITHOUT themselves getting killed then they should go for it. Suicidal attempts are not always good judgment calls. Your there as a team. Act like one.

i'm not going to scold him for it lol
it was for fun,but we'll learn from it

i was there in that tourney and i of course mained Ike and teamed with a ZSS and made 5th in doubles. We did well but we both wanted to win the whole thing

but ending wasnt bad at all, aparantly there were two teams that had Ike and ZSS teaming together . I should have recorded though cuz me and muh partner made a really cool wombo combo in one match to win it

even true Ike mainers know when they have bad match ups, if your gonna main Ike then prepare for alot (and i do mean alot) of bad match-ups. It takes alot of patience and a whole lot of cunning to be a good Ike

Good stuff Penta. That ending was indeed EPIC. Nothing wrong with playin' for fun, but if you ever want to get serious make sure you guys work out your issues beforehand.

but sometimes i go"what the hell,time2ikenate!!" and don't care lol

i'm still practicing for alot of those bad match ups though,
