i watched... i noticed that you rolled alot... and mario guy did too... you were way to predictable... and a little slow... and you doubled jumped alot... which isn't that bad... but instead of double jumping... try shs or shl more... that way you will give out more damage (if you shl)... rule of thumb... never fight a mario/ or doc character on the edge... you WILL get caped eventually

You have alot of the same problems I did and still have mostly with rolling and SHL but you also need to work into combos better, work on l-canceling and aso your edge gaurding. Your getting there and good job sweetspotting I have a Doc friend who punishes my every recovery up until recently. And as shiz said practice!

Wavedash more and make sure you RSHL because you kept going at him and then rolling back to get away RSHL makes for an easier retreat and wavedash can give openings for attacks!

The great Saberhof plays Falco? Sweet. You need to work on your SHLs, they are a bit high. Also maybe doublejump a bit less and if you do, fast fall it, you don't want to hang around the air with no jump. You also got shield grabbed a lot so work on your pillaring. You really just need to practice and you'll get it.

Okay.. stop rolling so much and edge guard more. Short jump + Down A = win. You can do that without jumping off the stage and numbs the character for awhile making it very hard to get back up.

more lasers = more win; just try not to be predictable with the lasers

more shffls...also, as everyone said less rolling; run away and rshl or something, that'll give you an easier comeback

no rolling, more pillar, more shffls and backwards laser for comeback, got it.

PS: the pillaring im used to is really fast and i cant get to l cancel lol, should i press after i fastfall?...or the moment i Fastfall?

as for the videos, im really nervous when i play anyone for some reason, and when i play at my house im lots faster. >_>...

Not no rolling, just less! Rolling is very helpful. Shffls just get your game up another level but don't go over the top. If your opponent is playing simple and makes big mistakes from playing simple, then punish him using basic tactics. You don't always have to go for the big kill.

RSHL was just a suggestion for getaway techniques; it's not TOTALLY necessary but it's always a good idea because if you master this you can get back on your feet without the recovery lag of rolling.

Pillaring is hard; everyone's shields are different. I'm not very good with it, but it just comes with playing friendlies and stuff I guess. But I need that pillaring question answered too...

Oh yeah! Another thing that you can do is to vary ledge actions; ledgehopped rising dair is always good, as well as a ledgehopped rising nair. Perhaps EHDL? I don't know how to do that, but if someone could address that issue it could help us both...

man... you jump entirely to high... you need to work on your short hop jumps more... and timing your shl... and include ALOT more pillaring or make up your own shine combo... that's what i do... i just think of something as im going... that includes some pillaring... and then when they are about 60-80 % i just make it up from there... not that hard... try it... and always... stay ontop of fox... dont let him control the stage at all... same for capt. falcon and peach....

Good points from a lot of people so far, so I won't add much.

The thing that jumped out most in your vids was the excessive fully charged f-smashes. I guess I can't be too critical since the Mario player kept getting hit with them, but if a better player caught on to you doing that, you'd be eating big combos left and right.

It's extremely easy to sit right outside of an f-smash's range and just wait to punish.

On the plus side, you've definitely got the movements down. Pretty good tech skill, good consistent l-cancels. Definitely needs more laser, but when you did use it you spaced yourself pretty well...

Keep on practicing. In a month or so, once you get the movements a little more down, you'll be a beast for sure.

Edit:

Just watched the tournament vid... I was disappointed to see you lose to player who was clearly not as good as you.

Couple things:

- He was able to punish you once for f-smash charging... Be careful about doing that.
- Your edge guarding needs a lot of work. You missed a few obvious ones early on and it looked like you almost quit going for them near the end.
- SD's suck... You'd have won if it wasn't for that one...
- More LASERS!!!! That fox didn't know what he was doing. SHL would have slowed him down a lot.
- Try working in some grabs for some easy free damage...
- And lastly, be more aware of what your opponent is doing. The fox player threw out way to many dash attacks... You could have side stepped and grabbed him on numerous occasions.

Keep up the work, though. You're game will progress so long as you continue working at it.

Okay...

Good Falco, but you should work on your Speed/ Combos.

Play agressive against fox! Falco is one of the most offensive characters to play!
Comboe this fox to **** * ** * ;)
Dair, Waveshine, Dair, Waeshine, uair, etc
Perform the sh dair with the fast fall, its faster and not this easy to shield grab. (With a shine after it!)

And laser a bit more and also while dashing!
Edgequard! Many options:
On stage: Mainly dair, dsmash... if you think the fox will not sweetspot correct then, a fsmash is also useful!
Or grab the ledge and edgequard with a ledge hopped dair, bair etc
